Lingvistinės pragmatikos įvadas : mokomoji knyga

LTMokomojoje knygoje glaustai pristatomos pragmatikos samprata ir istorija, svarbiausi terminai ir pagrindinės lingvistinės pragmatikos kurso temos: deiksės kategorijos, pragmatinė presupozicijų samprata, performatyvų ir šnekos aktų teorijos, kalbinio bendradarbiavimo principas ir pokalbio implikatūros, mandagumo maksimos ir įvaizdžio saugojimo teorija. Pragmatika yra lingvistikos sritis, kuri tiria, kaip kontekstas papildo reikšmę; kokiu būdu reikšmės perdavimas priklauso ne tik nuo kalbėtojo ir klausytojo kalbos mokėjimo, bet ir nuo pasakymo konteksto, žinių apie pokalbio dalyvių statusą, inferuotos kalbėtojo intencijos ir t. t. Šiuo atžvilgiu, lingvistinė pragmatika paaiškina, kaip kalbos vartotojai sugeba išdviprasminti pasakymą, kadangi reikšmė priklauso nuo pasakymo būdo, vietos, laiko ir pan. Gebėjimas suprasti kito kalbėtojo ketinamą perduoti reikšmę yra vadinamas pragmatine kompetencija. Europietiškasis perspektyvinis požiūris pragmatikos objektu laiko visus kalbinio elgesio aspektus, kai kalbos priemonės vartojamos komunikaciniam tikslui pasiekti. ENThe study book concisely presents the concept and history of pragmatics, the key terms and main themes of the course on linguistic pragmatics: deixis categories, pragmatic concept of presuppositions, theories of performative utterances and speech acts, the principle of linguistic cooperation and conversational implicatures, politeness maxims and image protection theory. Modern textbooks attribute the speaker’s meaning and utterance interpretation to the field of pragmatics research. These terms represent two approaches: the social approach which focuses on the producer of an utterance and ignores utterance interpretation and the cognitive approach which focuses on the addressee of an utterance and ignores social conditions of the production of an utterance. Pragmatics is the area of linguistics that focuses on how the context complements the meaning; in what way the communication of the meaning depends not only on the knowledge of language by the speaker and the listener, but also on the context of an utterance, the knowledge about the status of interlocutors, inferred intent of the speaker, etc. In this respect, linguistic pragmatics explains how language users are able to disambiguate an utterance, because the meaning depends on the manner of utterance, place, time, etc. The ability to understand the meaning intended to be conveyed by the speaker is called a pragmatic competence. The European perspective approach defines the object of pragmatics as all aspects of linguistic behaviour when language means are used in order to achieve a communication aim. A similar approach to pragmatics has been adopted by Eastern European linguists, who consider pragmatics to be a theory of linguistic communication, including the impact of verbal messages on people.
