ENHaving analyzed the works of Blessed George Matulaitis, one can state that mysticism is the highest level of sanctity development, the essence of which is man's union with God-Love or man's participation in the life of triune God. Blessed George maintains that all people, and especially those hallowed to God, should strive for mystical union with God. Nowhere else is person able to find rest and true self-realization than in perfect union with God. God is the center and natural place of spirit, and it would not feel so good anywhere else. Heart will find rest only in perfect union with God, cuddling together with Him, since will always seeks for the highest good.
