Žmogus Lietuvos fotografijoje : požiūrių kaita XX ir XXI a. sandūroje

LTMonografijos tikslas – atskleisti Lietuvos fotografijoje vykstančią požiūrio į žmogų kaitą ir apibrėžti jos suformuotus Lietuvos šiuolaikinės fotografijos bruožus. Žmogaus reprezentacijos fotografijoje problematika monografijoje analizuojama remiantis tarpdisciplininiu teoriniu pagrindu. Šiuolaikinės fotografijos kūrėjai ne paneigia fotografijos savitumą, bet išnaudoja ar kritiškai reflektuoja kitus (palyginti su tradicinės meninės fotografijos atstovais) fotografijos specifiškumo aspektus. Apibrėžiant tyrimo objektą, menininkų naudojama medija buvo svarbus atskaitos taškas: nors monografijoje analizuojama ir fotografų, ir kitų sričių menininkų kūryba, visais atvejais tos kūrybos rezultatas yra statiškas dvimatis atvaizdas, sukurtas fotografijos (ar fotografijų reprodukavimo) būdu. Tyrimo objekto ribas nužymi ne tik analizuojamiems darbams sukurti panaudota medija, bet ir jų bendra tema – asmens identitetas ir to identiteto santykio su žmogaus atvaizdu refleksija. Monografijoje analizuojami ne visi su minėta problematika susiję lietuvių autorių darbai, o tik tie, kurie geriausiai atspindi skirtingus jos aspektus ar ryškiausiai reprezentuoja tam tikras kūrybines taktikas. Chronologines knygoje analizuojamos Lietuvos fotografijos ribas galima brėžti nuo XX a. 9-ojo dešimtmečio antros pusės iki šių dienų, o čia aptariamų darbų autorių kūrybines taktikas sieja pasirinkta medija, analizuojama tema ir refleksyvi tos temos traktuotė. ENThe aim of the monograph is to reveal the changing attitude towards the human figure in Lithuanian photography and define the characteristics of contemporary Lithuanian photography, which formed due to these changes. The representation of the human figure in photography is addressed by using an interdisciplinary theoretical approach. The creators of contemporary Lithuanian photography do not deny the distinctive character of photography, but instead use or critically reflect the other aspects of the specifics of photography (if compared to the representatives of traditional artistic photography). The medium used by artists became an important frame of reference for the definition of the object of this study: although the monograph covers the works of both photographers and artists of other areas, the result in all cases is a static two-dimensional image created by the means of photography (or reproduction of photographic images). The scope of the study is limited not only by the medium of works analysed here, but also by their common theme: identity of a person and a reflective approach to the relationship of this identity with the image of the person. The monograph does not analyse all works by Lithuanian authors related to the above mentioned themes, but only those that best reflect its different aspects or best represent certain creative tactics. The chronology covers the period from the second half of the 1980s to this day, while the creative tactics discussed here are interrelated by the chosen medium, common features of contemporary photography and the reflected theme. Photography is analysed not only as a discursive image, but also its exceptional causal relations with the objective reality are taken into consideration.
