Young people's view of the family as a social-pedagogical problem

LTStraipsnyje analizuojama aktuali šeimos transformacijos problema. Šiuo metu vykstantys pokyčiai šeimoje neturėtų būti matomi tik kaip mokslinės diskusijos objektas; jie yra sudedamoji socialinio gyvenimo įvairių sferų dalis. Mokykla negali ignoruoti jauno žmogaus paruošimo šeimos gyvenimui problemos. Šalies raidos artimiausiu metu ir tolimesnėje ateityje galimybės ir ypatumai priklauso nuo jauno žmogaus gyvenimo būdo ir jo vertybių sistemos. ENThe authors of the article analyze the topical problem of family transformation. The actual changes in the family should not be viewed as solely the object of scientific discussions; they are integral part of various fields of social life. The school cannot ignore the issue of preparing young people for family life. The possibilities and features of the development of the country both in the nearest and in the distant future ultimately depend on the young people’s mode of life and on their system of values. The authors present the results of their research “Young People’s View of the Family” and believe they will contribute to the elaboration of the programmes of preparing young people for family life by teachers and parents.
