Elitologinio rakto Juozo Grušo kūrybai beieškant

LTŠio straipsnio tema - lietuvių dramos klasiko Juozo Grušo (1901-1986) estetinės pažiūros ir kūrybinė laikysena Lietuvos sovietinės priklausomybės laikais. Joms paaiškinti taikoma elitologinė kultūros ir meno samprata. J. Grušas priklausė anuometiniam literatūros ir teatro elitui, kuris buvo paradoksaliai prieštaringas: viena vertus, jis buvo formalus, t. y. oficialiai pripažįstamas, kita vertus, neformalus, atsirandantis iš vidinio pasipriešinimo okupaciniam režimui ir labai individualių avangardinių meno ieškojimų. Paradoksalus tokios išskirtinės sovietmečio menininkų grupės vaidmuo XX a. lietuvių literatūros ir teatro modernėjimo / postmodernėjimo procese: avangardine meno raišką ji pristatė kaip sovietinės kultūros reiškinį. Septintajame ir aštuntajame dešimtmetyje parašytose novelėse ir dramose J. Grušas yra artimas moderniems / postmoderniems Vakarų prozos ir dramos autoriams. Straipsnyje teigiama, jog tokiems kūrybiniams rašytojo ieškojimams lemiamos įtakos turėjo ne tik tarpukaryje įgyta moderniosios prozos rašymo patirtis, bet ir etinis elitiškumas, gyvavęs Lietuvoje sovietiniais laikais, kūrėjui artimų menininkų grupės prestižas. ENThe focus of the article is on the aesthetical views and creative attitude of the Lithuanian dramatist Juozas Grušas (1901-1986) in the Soviet period in Lithuania. The elitological concept of culture and art is applied to approach and explain those views. Grušas belonged to the literary and theatre elite of that period that was paradoxically contradictory: on the one hand, it was formal, i.e., officially recognised, but informally, it emerged from the inner resistance against the occupation regime and very individual avant-garde searching for artistic expression, on the other hand. The role of that exceptional group of artists under the Soviet time in the process of modernization / postmodernization of Lithuanian literature and theatre of the 20th century was paradoxical enough: it presented avant-garde expression of art as a specific phenomenon of Soviet culture. In his novels and dramas written in the 60s and 70s, Grušas approached modern / postmodern authors of the Western prose and drama. The article claims that modern prose writing experience, gained in the post-war period, as well as the phenomenon of public and resistant elitism that existed in Soviet Lithuania, within a prestigious group of artists that were close to the writer, had a decisive influence on the creative effort and artistic expression of Grušas.
