LTŽinių poveikis vystymosi procesams neabejotinai didelis. Kuriant ir pritaikant žinias formuojasi nauji visuomenės ir ekonomikos reiškiniai. Daug diskutuojama apie žmogiškųjų išteklių ir žiniomis grįstos ekonomikos tarpusavio sąsajas. Pasaulio mokslininkai, politikai visuomenės veikėjai vieningai pripažįsta, kad ekonomikos augimo tempai, žmonių socialinė gerovė, subalansuota ūkio plėtra pastaruoju metu vis stipriau priklauso, o ateityje dar stipriau priklausys nuo naujų žinių kūrimo bei jų praktinio panaudojimo procesų valdyme. Šiandien žinių vadyba kiekvienam asmeniui, kiekvienai organizacijai yra vienas svarbiausių gyvenimo sėkmės ir kokybiško darbo komponentų. Ekonominės sąlygos ir ekonominės perspektyvos, globalizacijos plėtra ir žiniomis grindžiamos visuomenės kūrimas tampa vis stipriau priklausomi nuo gebėjimo inicijuoti, skleisti ir įgyvendinti naujoves visose gyvenimo sferose. Šis veiksnys yra ypač svarbus kuriant ir plečiant Europos Sąjungą, nes įjungus naujoves atsiranda daug problemų susijusių su socialine ir ekonomine politika, bei mokslo technologijų plėtra. Taigi, Lietuvai integruojantis į Europos Sąjungą, žinių visuomenės formavimosi aktyvinimas tampa vienu svarbiausių socialinių ir ekonominių uždavinių. ENKnowledge makes absolutely significant impact to the processes of development. While creating and adapting knowledge new public and economic phenomena are being formed. There are a lot of discussions about coherence between human recourses and knowledge economy. The scientists, politicians, public figures acknowledge with one accord that in nowadays the speed of economic growth, social welfare of the people, sustainable economic development are more and more dependent, and will be even more dependent in future from the creation of a new knowledge and its practical appliance in the management of processes. During Lithuania’s integration into the European Union, evaluation of human recourses and formation of knowledge society in the context of knowledge economy became one of the most important economic tasks. It wad determined, that the development of knowledge-based economy is not so efficient in Lithuania. There are a lot of bureaucratic constraints, information technologies are used not enough efficiently, not enough of funs are allocated for researches, the potential of human resources is large, but it is used inefficiently, what results in emigration of many specialists to other countries. Consequently, moving towards knowledge-based economy, it is essential to choose properly the means for the realization of human recourses potential in the country. [From the publication]
