ENIn this paper it is argued that quality strategy of work of arts teachers to the great extent is determined by their capability to be multi-rolled and skilled teachers. It is noticed that arts education tendencies in Europe go towards an arts subject teacher who should dispose competences not only of an artist and pedagogue, but also would research phenomenon of arts education and also could become a cultural actor of local community. Organization of arts education also demands management skills. According to these conditions the vision of arts subject pedagogue is developed. This can be named as" a model of cohesion of five professional roles". This multi-rolled model of arts subject teacher involves not only professional roles of an artist and a pedagogue, but also ability to perform the functions of cultural worker (the role of a cultural actor), ability to recognize educational problems using educational process research methods (the role of a researcher) and ability to dispose the latter-day management achievements (the role of a manager). The conclusion is drawn that a model of cohesion of five professional roles should become a universal phenomenon, indispensable for every arts subject pedagogue. Moreover, those competencies of all five spheres should be sought in, as it is called, all life learning way because they quickly change in the stream of time. Seeking to develop the process of arts education and raise the teaching and learning level of arts subjects, the signification of such a model can become an important condition of educational work optimization and educational research innovation.
