Atskleidžiami veiklos tyrimo rezultatai: studentų kognityvinių gebėjimų dinamika, kūrybiškumo pokyčiai improvizavimo, akompanavimo iš funkcijų, akompanimento kūrimo srityse. ENThe significance of teaching creativity and creative personality is emphasized in the context of today's educational reform. National comprehensive schools programs highlight teaching creativity as one of the most important educational objectives. Creativity can be developed using musical improvisation. The educational significance of musical improvisation is acknowledged by both national and foreign authors. The data of the studies carried out in Lithuania has revealed the lack of improvisation experience of both present and future music teachers. There is the lack of attention paid on improvisation, music composition and creativity in music teachers' education programs. The importance of improvisation is not revealed in the context of future music teachers' creativity development. The aim of the research - to reveal the future music teachers' creativity development possibilities using improvisation expression forms. Research methods: a theoretical analysis of scientific literature and education documents; testing; activities analysis; quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data. The activities study has been carried out with the Šiauliai university Art faculty Music pedagogy second year students (N=18). Improvisation, creativity and projects have been applied as the methods of education. The duration of the study - two semesters. Characteristics of the creative tasks (improvisation, improvised accompaniment) have been evaluated using five-level scale. Testing has been used to evaluate the cognitive changes.The respondents have been assessed at the beginning, middle and end of the activities study. After the creativity developing activities using improvisation expression forms the students' improvisation, improvised accompaniment and creativity skills have changed positively. The most visible changes have been recorded while evaluating creative task - improvised accompaniment and the least visible changes have been recorded in the melodic and harmonic improvisation areas. While evaluating the parameters of creative writing task the estimate of thinking originality has increased for the most part; the less increase has been in the variety and richness of the details. Mostly originality signs have been recorded in the area of the rhythmic interests and the least - in the harmonic. After finishing activities study according to all surveyed characteristics statistically significant differences have been found out. It can be stated that improvisation expression forms application in students' creativity development enabled to achieve purposeful creative changes. [From the publication]
