Šeima, jos papročiai

LTStraipsnyje pristatomi ir aptariami 1997 m. Žiobiškio apylinkėse (Rokiškio raj.) atliktos kompleksinės kraštotyrinės ekspedicijos metu surinkti duomenys. Tyrimo metu apklausta septyniolika pateikėjų. Buvo domimasi XX a. I pusės šeimos papročiais. Remiantis atliktų apklausų rezultatais, apibūdinama pateikėjų socialinė kilmė (ūkininkai) ir su ja susijusi specifinė atitinkamo meto gyvensena ir patirtys. Pastebima, kad XX a. I pusės šeimose dominavo patriarchalinis šeimos modelis, šeimos galva buvo vyras. Aptariamas to meto santuokinis amžius, jaunos šeimos gyvenamoji vieta, poros santykiai su tėvais, kraičio ir gaunamos pasogos ypatumai. Atkreipiamas dėmesys, kad po 1940 metų pasogos davimo dukteriai tradicija nunyko. Remiantis surinkta medžiaga apibūdinami ir XX a. I pusės Žiobiškio apylinkių marčių ir anytų tarpusavio santykiai, santykiai su kitais drauge gyvenusiais šeimos nariais, nusenusių žmonių karšinimo tradicijos ypatumai. Atskiras dėmesys skiriamas vaikų moraliniam auklėjimui, kuris buvo itin glaudžiai susijęs su religiniu, katalikišku, vaikų auklėjimu. Aptariamas ir darbinis vaikų auklėjimas, auklėjamoji šeimos švenčių šventimo funkcija, vaikų mokymo ir leidimo mokslan ypatumai. Daroma išvada, kad XX a. pradžioje Žiobiškio apylinkėse jau dominavo paprastoji (mažoji) šeima su nusistovėjusiais turto paveldėjimo santykiais. ENThe article presents and discusses data collected during complex region exploration expedition in 1997 in Žiobiškis vicinity (Rokiškis district). During the research 17 interviewers were questioned. It was mostly focused on family customs in the first half of the 20th c. Based on results of interviews, the social origin of interviewers’ (farmers) was described, as well as specific lifestyle of respective period and experiences related thereto. It was noticed that in the first half of the 20th century a patriarchal family model dominated, a man was the head of the family. The marital age, living space of a young family, relationships between a young couple and the parents, peculiarities of dowry and attributed portion were discussed of that time. Attention is paid to the fact that after 1940 the tradition to give portion to daughters disappeared. Based on the collected material the relationship between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law, also relationship to other family members, who lived together, features of tradition of nursing the elderly were also described of the 1st half of the 20th century of Žiobiškis vicinities. Exclusive attention was paid to moral education of children, which was closely connected to religious, Catholic education of children. Also the contemporary education of children, and the educational function of celebrating family holidays, as well as teaching them and sending them to seek education is reviewed. Conclusion is drawn that in the beginning of the 20th century the ordinary (small) family dominated Žiobiškis vicinity with established relationship of asset heredity. The most important task of the family was considered to be raising and educating children and support for one another.
