LTSpartus informacinių technologijų vystymasis ir jų pritaikymas pedagogų veikloje sukuria prielaidas efektyvesnei informacijos komunikacijai, bendravimui ir bendradarbiavimui, bendros veiklos vykdymui, naujų žinių kūrimui. Straipsnyje ieškoma atsakymo į probleminį klausimą: kiek informacin÷s technologijos prisideda prie pedagogų bendravimo ir bendradarbiavimo skatinimo? Remiantis empirinių tyrimų rezultatais, pristatomi pedagogų naudojimosi pedagogine informacijos duomenų baze KORYS bruožai. ENThe educational information database ‘KORYS’ is intended for teachers. It accumulates and spreads important and necessary information, shares good experience, as well as gives possibility to collaborate. The conception of the ‘KORYS’ information renewal is based on active collaboration of teachers in creating, developing and changing the information necessary for teachers (http://korys.emokykla.lt/about ). This database uses information technologies, among them interactive technologies Web 2.0; it guarantees effective dissemination of information, sharing of information, and corporate activity. Referring to diversity, modernity and innovativeness of information technologies the database "KORYS" was created. The idea of the educational information database "KORYS" is based on the tool Wikidot.com created in Poland, which aims to help people who want to start the project being created by the initiative of their community. During the year thousands of useful projects have been created due to this tool. In such environment every member of the community can create and develop a project of any content (Šimanėlis, 2007). Such websites on the Internet help to create a lot of important social projects, which are initiated by the users and which are based on the principle of information sharing and knowledge production. The research has shown that the educational information database "KORYS" is a good means for teachers to accumulate and to disseminate necessary and important information, to share good experience and to collaborate. The conception of the "KORYS" information renewal is based on active collaboration of teachers in creating, developing and exchanging of the information necessary for teachers. In this collaboration environment each teacher can personally contribute to the development of educational information.The analysis of the specific features related to the use of the educational information database "KORYS" has shown that less than half of the respondents used the system. The reasons for not using the system are related to insufficient information dissemination and the lack of teachers’ competence to use information technologies. This shows that the attention should be paid both to the dissemination of the information about this system, and to the development of teachers’ competence. This would induce the use of the educational information database. The teachers point out the possibility to get all information necessary for their professional activity and development in one place as main advantage of the system. According to most users of the system, the educational information database "KORYS" creates the conditions to use the intellectual potential of all collaborating teachers. Yet most teachers use this system for getting information, while few teachers using the system take part in the processes of information placement and creation of corporate knowledge. This allows stating that among Lithuanian teachers one-way communication takes place more often than effective information and knowledge sharing as well as production of new knowledge. Such results show that the development of the system could be implemented in two directions: knowledge sharing and development of cooperation means as well as teachers’ competences to use newly emergent information technologies in their development directions.
