ENMuseums organize educational programs for schoolchildren and their teachers but wishes of the latter are not always concurrent with possibilities to attend museums. Education in the museum is a ceaseless and constantly renewing process reacting to the shifting social situation, necessities of various society layers, fields of interest and even fashion. However, it is still based on particularity of museum, ethics of museologist and art values. Two wonderful worlds: museums and school exist in parallel but there is no link between them so they could enrich each other and serve for overall society wellbeing. In order to resolve the reasons of this misunderstanding it is very important to find out the attitude of museum educational activity members towards activity held by museums. The aim of the work is to identify teachers' attitude towards service and educational activity held by museums. Objectives: 1. To find out how frequently teachers with students attend museums. 2. To explore teachers' opinion of pupils' interest to participate in museum educational activity. 3. To dispute teachers' attitude towards the expedience of lesson integration with activity that is organized in museums. 4. To sort out what teachers appreciate in museums the most. Methods of the research: Survey of teachers using questionnaires, percentage analysis. Participants of the research: 105 teachers (58 of Arts, 8 of Art History, 28 of History and 13 of Music) were surveyed during the research. Conclusions: The bigger part of teachers attends museums with pupils once per year. Those usually are young specialists having teacher or head teacher's qualification category. 2. Teachers' think pupils that are most interested in educational activity held by museums are of V-VII grades. This is the opinion of almost all male teachers and more than half female teachers. The least interest in participating is shown by XI-XII grade pupils. This means that tutors of museum educational activity should improve programs designed for older pupils. 3. Most teachers, without reference to work experience and qualification, think that it is expedient to integrate lessons with activity that is organized in museums. 4. Teachers appreciate the atmosphere, interest of children and exhibits in the museums. [From the publication]
