Būsimų pedagogų pasirengimas tenkinti mokinių specialiuosius ugdymo(si) poreikius

LTStraipsnyje analizuojama, kaip kolegijų pradinio ugdymo ir užsienio kalbų pedagogikos studijų programų studentai vertina savo pasirengimą tenkinti mokinių specialiuosius ugdymo(si) poreikius (SUP) bendrojo lavinimo mokykloje. Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, jog tik pusė apklaustų studentų pripažįsta, kad jų kompetencijos tenkinti mokinių SUP yra pakankamos. Studentai nurodė nepakankamą pasirengimą šiose srityse: trūksta kompetencijų atpažinti ir tenkinti moksleivių SUP, pritaikyti mokymo(si) turinį, atsižvelgiant į SUP turinčio vaiko galimybes ir poreikius, ir ypač – bendrauti ir bendradarbiauti su ugdymo proceso dalyviais ir ugdymo institucijomis. Apklausos duomenys liudija, kad kolegijų studentų pasirengimas tenkinti mokinių SUP turėtų būti kryptingesnis ir efektyvesnis, labiau atitinkantis integruoto (inkliuzinio) ugdymo situaciją bendrojo lavinimo mokyklose. Svarbu plėtoti šias studentų kompetencijas: gebėjimą vertinti ir tenkinti moksleivių SUP; gebėjimą pritaikyti SUP turintiems mokiniams bendrąsias programas; bendrauti ir bendradarbiauti su ugdymo proceso dalyviais ir ugdymo institucijomis. Studijų procese, ypač studijuojant pedagogikos ir psichologijos dalykus, svarbu ugdyti būsimų mokytojų gebėjimus identifikuoti vaiko, turinčio SUP, raidos tipologinius ir individualius požymius, gebėti juos sieti su mokymosi sunkumais. Dėstant didaktikos modulius daugiau dėmesio derėtų skirti studentų gebėjimų pritaikyti mokymo programą mokinių individualiesiems poreikiams ugdymui. ENArticle analyses how the students on the college study programmes of primary education and foreign languages evaluate their preparedness to meet special educational needs (SEN) in a mainstream school. The research results showed that only half of the surveyed students admit having sufficient competences to meet SEN of the pupils. The students pointed to the insufficient preparedness in the following areas: the lack of competences to recognise and meet pupils’ SEN, to adapt the content of teaching/learning with regard to the abilities and needs of the child with SEN, and particularly to communicate and collaborate with the participants of the process of education and educational institutions. The data of the survey shows that the training of the college students to meet SEN of the pupils should be more purposeful and efficient, more corresponding to the situation of integrated (inclusive) education in mainstream schools. It is important to develop the following competences of the students: an ability to assess and meet SEN of the pupils, an ability to adapt the general curriculum to the pupils with SEN; to communicate and collaborate with the participants of the educational process and educational institutions. In the process of studies, especially while studying the subjects of Education Studies and Psychology, it is important to develop the abilities of prospective teachers to identify developmental, typological and individual characteristics of the child with SEN and be able to link them with learning difficulties. In the modules of subject didactics, more attention should be paid to develop the students’ abilities to adapt the curriculum for the individual needs of the pupils. [From the publication]
