LTStraipsnyje siekiama atsakyti į probleminį klausimą, kokie yra sporto pedagogų perdegimo ypatumai. Tyrimui buvo pasitelkti šie apklausos metodai: Profesinio perdegimo klausimynas, kurį parengė American Public Welfare Association, ir Trenerių perdegimo klausimynas CBQ. Apklausti 82 sporto pedagogai. Empirinio tyrimo duomenimis nustatyta, kad vyresnių nei 35 metų sporto pedagogų patiriamo perdegimo lygis yra aukštesnis, lyginant jį su sporto pedagogų iki 35 metų, be to, sporto pedagogams, dirbantiems daugiau nei 10 metų, perdegimas yra labiau būdingas nei sporto pedagogams, dirbantiems mažiau nei 10 metų.
