LTAptariami du etiketo formulių tipai, užfiksuoti Lietuvos Metrikoje. Pirmojo tipo etiketo formulės atspindi, kaip suvokiamas tam tikro dokumentinio teksto žanras, antrojo tipo formulės iliustruoja kalbos etiketo ir bendravimo pagal nustatytas taisykles normas. Pirmojo tipo formulės būdingos visiems dalykinės raštijos žanrams, antrojo tipo - aktams, skirtiems konkrečiam asmeniui; taip pabrėžiama asmeninė pranešimo paskirtis. Antrojo tipo formulės dažnai yra ekspresyvios, jose yra socialinės informacijos' Pirmojo tipo formulės turi funkcinių bruožų, t. y. jos žymi tam tikro skyriaus ribą dokumento struktūroje. ENTwo types of etiquette formulae are discussed which were recorded in the Lithuanian Metrica. Formulae of the first type of etiquette reflect the ways of interpreting a certain documentary textual genre, whereas formulae of the second type illustrate the linguistic etiquette and norms of communication in accordance with an established set of rules. Formulae of the first type are typical of all subject-specific written genres, whereas the formulae of the second type – to acts addressed to concrete individuals; also the purpose of personalised communication is underlined. Formulae of the second type are often expressive, containing social information, whereas formulae of the first type have functional features, i.e. they denote the limits of one chapter in the overall structure of a document.
