"Barwiczka" (Wilno, 1605) : fenotyp utworu i problem autorstwa

LT1605 metais Vilniuje Jano Karcano spaustuvėje buvo išleistas vienas neįprasčiausių Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės XVI–XVII amžiaus literatūros kūrinių: poema lenkų kalba Skaistalai merginos veidui puošti (Barwiczka dla ozdoby twarzy Panienskiey). Antraštiniame lape nurodoma, jog knygą parašė Radopatrzkas Gladkotwarskis iš Lekarewicų panelei Daygotai Mielostroyskai užsakius. Poema Skaistalai yra Ovidijaus poemos Medicamina Faciei parafrazė ir pirmas LDK poetinis traktatas apie kosmetiką, retas kūrinys, skirtas ne skaitytojams, o tik skaitytojoms. Nežinia, koks Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės poetas slėpėsi po Radopatrzko iš Lekarewicų slapyvardžiu. Straipsnio autorius pateikia argumentuotą prielaidą, jog tai Jonas Protasovičius – Karcano spaustuvėje išleistų poemų ir poetinių traktatų Paranimphus (1595), Epicedium (1597), Ksztalt poczciwey Bialoglowy (1597), Konterfet czlowieka starego (1597), Jalmužnik (1597), Inventores rerum... (1608) autorius. Skaistaluose sukurtas moters paveikslas visiškai atitinka pažiūras, aptinkamas minėtuose Protasovičiaus kūriniuose, o slėptis po slapyvardžiu poetą vertė „nerimta“ kūrinio tema. Kartu tai davė galimybę kurti savotišką žaidimą su skaitytojais (skaitytojomis). Poema turi žanrinių panašumų su populiariais to meto anoniminiais antifeministiniais pamfletais. ENIn 1605 the printing house of Janas Karcanas in Vilnius published one of the most atypical literary works of 16th–17th cent. in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania: a poem in Polish “Barwiczka dla ozdoby twarzy Panienskiey” [Powder for Embellishing A Girl’s Face]. The title page of the book indicates that the book was written by Radopatrzk Gladkotwarskij from Lekarewicy upon request of lady Daygota Mielostroyska. The poem in question is a paraphrase of Ovid’s poem “Medicamina Faciei” and the first poetical treatise of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania on cosmetics – a rather unusual piece having as its target audience female readership. It is not clear which poet of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania chose the nickname of Radopatrzk from Lekarewicy. The author of the article makes an reasonable assumption that the author is Jonas Protasovičius – author of the following poems and poetic treatises that were all published in the same publishing house of Karcanas: “Paranimphus” (1595), “Epicedium” (1597), “Ksztalt poczciwey Bialoglowy” (1597), “Konterfet czlowieka starego” (1597), “Jalmužnik” (1597), “Inventores rerum...” (1608). In the poem in question the image of a lady fully complies with attitudes portrayed in the above mentioned works by Protasovičius, who might have been forced to use the nickname by reason of “not serious” topic of the poem. At the same time it provided a possibility to play a certain game with (female) readership. The poem has genre similarities with anonymous anti-feminist pamphlets that were popular at that time.
