LTStraipsnyje siekiama išsiaiškinti muzikos mokyklų pedagogų profesinio tobulinimosi poreikius. Analizuojamas muzikos mokytojų požiūris į nuolatinį mokymąsi ir profesinį tobulinimąsi. Statistinės duomenų analizės pagrindu atskleista demografinių kintamųjų įtaka nagrinėjam muzikos mokytojų požiūriui į profesinio tobulinimosi ypatumus. ENThe research into demands for professional qualification development among Lithuanian music teachers is presented in this article. The teachers' attitude towards continuous education and improvement of their professional qualification was investigated. Based on the results of the statistical data analysis, the influence of demographical variables upon the attitude towards professional qualification development was identified. It was revealed that teachers' attitude in general is positive. Nevertheless, the larger part of the respondents is still not ready to accept the responsibility for professional development and tends to attribute it to educational institutions. It was also noticed that the activities of qualification improvement usually depend on the qualification category of teachers. [From the publication]
