Lietuvos dailės muziejaus sfragistikos rinkinio eksponatai : Oginskių antspaudai ir mažamečio kunigaikščio Mykolo Mikalojaus Severino Marko Oginskio (1849-1902) piešiniai

LTLDM sfragistikos rinkinys yra didžiausias ir vertingiausias tarp šalies muziejuose turimų šio tipo eksponatų rinkinių. Didžiausią rinkinio dalj sudaro XVII–XIX a. LDK ir ATR instituciniai bei personaliniai antspaudai lake. Tik nedidelė jų dalis yra įspausti vaške ir popieriuje. Absoliuti jų dauguma yra autentiški. Likusią rinkinio dalį sudaro originalūs to paties laikotarpio spaudai. Rinkinyje savo gausumu ir originalumu, lyginant su kitomis garsiomis LDK didikų šeimomis, išsiskiria Žemaitijos kunigaikščių Oginskių antspaudai (25 vnt.) ir Mykolo Mikalojaus Severino Marko Oginskio ranka piešti herbai (25 vnt.). Pastarųjų faksimilės galėtų papildyti Rietavo kunigaikščių Oginskių kultūros istorijos muziejaus ekspoziciją. Dokumentų (laiškų), iš kurių buvo iškirpti Oginskių antspaudai, taip pat ir pačių spaudų rinkinyje nėra. Jų likimas ar saugojimo vieta nežinomi. Neaiškus ir viso rinkinio susiformavimo kelias, nors yra keletas požymių, kad dalis rinkinio į dabartinę saugojimo vietą galėjo patekti iš Mykolo Mikalojaus Oginskio šeimos muziejaus Plungėje kolekcijų. Rinkinyje saugomi eksponatai, nors ir mažyčiai (vos kelių centimetrų dydžio), yra mažosios plastikos kūriniai. ENIn September 2005, the Lithuanian National Martynas Mažvydas Library and the Government of the RepubHc of Lithuania began to realize the project The Creation of an Integral, Virtual Informational System of Libraries, the purpose of which is to present 98 ООО LAM images of exhibits and their descriptions to the portal of the cultural heritage (http://www.epaveldas.lt). In the process of the realization of this project, among other selected for digitalization groups of the LAM exhibits, the richest in Lithuania collection of sphragistics (1 136 exhibits) also found its way. It mainly includes personal, official and church stamps and their impresses, mostly in lacquer, wax or paper, of state institutions, noblemen, rank-and-file gentry, craft:smen's guilds and others of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Commonwealth of the Two Nations in the 16'''-18''' centuries. Nearly 90 per cent of the stamps in the collection are armorial. An absolute majority of them are authentic. Tliey have been almost not investigated up to now. The mentioned collections also keep some objects of heraldry, such as the stamps of various coats of arms, cliches and dra- wings. All the stamps contained in the collection are clipped from documents or letters, except one (the letter adressed to Jonas Lopacinskas, bearing the stamps of the Sapiegas).In comparison with other well-known families of the GDL noblemen, the stamps of Zemaitijan dukes Oginskis (25 exhibits) and the coats of arms (25 exhibits) drawn by preteen Mykolas Mikalojus Severinas Markas Oginskis (1849-1902) distinquish themselves in the GDL Collection of Sphragistics by their copiousness and originality. The majority of the Oginskis family stamps have been identified, i. e. attributed to a specific representative of this family. The most numerous stamps (even 10) are by Mykolas Kazimieras Oginskis (1728-1800 ). The destiny of the documents and letters from which the stamps were cut out and of the stamps proper is unknown. The coats of arms drawn by Mykolas Mikalojus Oginskis - the copies of the coats of arms of Polish cities and provincies. Although Mykolas Mikalojus Oginskis is not always indicated as the author of the drawings of the coats of arms, but their identical style and technique of execution give grounds to attribute them to him. The drawings of the coats of arms by Mykolas Mikalojus Oginskis, like all other survived and preserved stamps of this family, have a lasting scientific value. They serve as a valuable material for the investigators of the heraldry of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Commonwealth of the Two Nations. [From the publication]
