Lietuvių (baltų) kilmės asmenvardžiai į rytus nuo Lietuvos

LTĮ rytus nuo Lietuvos praeityje buvo vartojamos baltų kalbos, gyventa baltų etnoso, kurio likučiai išliko iki XII-XIII a. Kyla klausimas, ar tuose plotuose esama baltiškos antroponimijos. Juk išmirę baltų kalbomis šnekėję žmonės turėjo palikti suslavėjusiems palikuonims bent dalį senojo vardyno. Ėmus rinkti dabar tuose plotuose vartojamus asmenvardžius paaiškėjo, kad tarp jų esama nemaža senovinių, baltiškos kilmės. Senieji baltiški vardai ten ne išnyko, bet buvo suslavinti. Atskirti juos nuo slaviškų antroponimų ne visuomet lengva, nes senieji baltų ir slavų asmenvardžiai, apskritai imant, labai panašūs. Tai ypač pasakytina apie patį seniausiąjį antroponimų sluoksnį - dvikamienius asmenvardžius. Būta daugybės tos pačios kilmės šių asmenvardžių sudedamųjų dėmenų, kurių tik dalies skirtumas buvo nulemtas vėlesnės slavų fonetikos raidos. Vienus nuo kitų atskirti padeda ne tik fonetika, bet ir toji aplinkybė, kad pati dvikamienių asmenvardžių sistema baltų kalbose yra archaiškesnė lyginant su esama slavų kalbose. Nėra nė vieno veikalo, kuriame būtų sistemingai ištirtos baltų antroponimijos liekanos tame plote, kur senovėje gyveno baltai, bet dabar jau šnekama slavų kalbomis. Tyrimą sunkina ir komplikuoja toji aplinkybė, kad gyventojams migruojant dalis rytuose suslavintų asmenvardžių pateko į Lietuvą ir sumišo su čia suslavintais asmenvardžiais, tuo būdu sustiprindami pastarųjų slavišką įspūdį. Ši aplinkybė gerokai užtemdė tikrąjį antroponimijos vaizdą tiek Lietuvoje, tiek ir esantį rytuose. ENIn the past, Baltic languages were spoken to the east from Lithuania, and people of Baltic origin lived there until the 12th–13th century. Thus, a question arises whether these territories have Baltic anthroponomy, since people who lived on those territories communicated in Baltic languages and they had to leave at least a small share of the old onomastics to their descendants, who later adopted Slavic nature. The process of collecting names used in those territories at those times showed that there is a number of old names of Baltic origin among them. Old Baltic names did not disappear. They were modified under the influence of Slavic languages. It is not always easy to distinguish them in the Slavic anthroponomy. This is especially relevant about the oldest layer of anthroponyms. A great number of components of these personal names of the same origin with only one difference determined by the later development of the Slavic phonetics existed. They can be distinguished from each other with the help of phonetics as well as due to the fact that the very two stem system of personal names in the Baltic languages is archaic if compared to the same system existing in the Slavic languages. So far, no scientific works have been devoted to systematic analysis of Baltic anthroponomy remains in those territories once occupied by the Balts and presently inhabited by people speaking Slavic languages. Such a research is impeded and complicated by the fact that with population migration part of personal names influenced by Slavic languages was brought to Lithuania and intermingled with personal names used in this region thus enhancing the Slavic nature of the latter. The article analyses Baltic (Lithuanian) personal names used in Belarus.
