Problems in the partnership realisation : communication and cooperation of scholars in the field among countries and the fields in the country

LTŽinios ir moksliniai tyrimai tampa vis labiau tarpdisciplininiai ir net daugiadisciplininiai. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos mokslininkų partnerystės įgyvendinimo problemos – įvairių šalių mokslininkų bendravimas ir bendradarbiavimas ir įvairių sričių (ypatingai socialinių ir gamtamokslinių) bendradarbiavimas šalyje. Analizuojant minėtus partnerystės tipus, gvildenami šie probleminiai klausimai: ar partnerystė visais atvejais buvo pasiekta; kokiais atvejais partnerystę lengviau pasiekti ir kada ji efektyvesnė. Straipsnyje iškelta tyrimo hipotezė – tarptautinis bendradarbiavimas ir mokslininkų bendradarbiavimas tam tikroje srityje (pavyzdžiui, socialiniai mokslai, švietimas, visų pirma), tarp skirtingų šalių yra lengvesnis ir efektyvesnis negu mokslininkų bendravimas ir bendradarbiavimas, atstovaujantis įvairioms sritims (švietimo ir gamtos mokslai) net toje pačioje šalyje – pasitvirtino. Buvo analizuojama Vakarų universitetų iniciatyvi programa „Jaunųjų mokslininkų švietimo plėtra Baltijos šalyse“ ir programos „Socrates“ projektas „Aukštasis mokslas“. Tyrimas atskleidė Baltijos šalių mokslininkų ir doktorantų teigiamą požiūrį į visų ryšių ir sričių bendradarbiavimą. Prioritetas buvo skiriamas doktorantų ir mokslininkų bendradarbiavimui Vakarų Europos šalyse ir Baltijos šalyse (90 proc.). Antroje vietoje respondentai nurodė bendravimą ir bendradarbiavimą tarp mokslininkų ir doktorantų (88,8 proc.), ir trečioje vietoje – bendradarbiavimą tarp mokslininkų švietimo ir kitose srityse (83 proc.). ENKnowledge and scientific research is increasingly becoming interdisciplinary and even multidisciplinary. The paper analyses the problems of implementation of scholars’ partnership, i.e. communication and cooperation of scholars from different countries as well as cooperation of different fields (in particular social and natural sciences) within the country. The paper analyses the above mentioned partnership types in order to answer the following questions: Has partnership been achieved in all cases? In what cases has partnership been achieved in an easier way and has become more efficient? The hypothesis raised in the paper and stating that international communication and cooperation among scholars in a certain field of knowledge (e.g. social sciences, education in particular) among different countries is easier and more efficient than communication and cooperation of scholars representing different fields (education and natural sciences) even within one country has been proved. The paper analysed the Western Universities Initiative Programme “Development of Young Researchers Generation in Education in the Baltic Countries” and the SOCRATES Programme Project “Higher Education”. The research revealed a positive attitude of Baltic scholars and doctoral students towards cooperation of all types and in all fields. Priority has been given to cooperation between doctoral students and scholars in Western European countries and the Baltic countries (90%). Communication and cooperation among scholars and doctoral students takes the second (88.8%) and cooperation between scholars in education and other fields – the third position (83%). This indicates a favourable attitude towards interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary relations.
