LTStraipsnyje aptariami pozityviosios socializacijos proceso aspektai, susiję su visuomenės kultūros perdavimu jaunesniajai kartai. Pozityvioji socializacija siejama su ugdymo procesu, kurio sudėtinė dalis yra dailinis ugdymas, savo dalykiniu turiniu bei vertybiniu krūviu yra svarbus vaiko socializacijos bei inkultūracijos požiūriu. Vaiko kaip asmenybės integracija į platesnius sociokultūrinius junginius yra svarbus ugdymo ir socializacijos uždavinys, kurio įgyvendinimo kokybei ir vertingumui svarbus dailinis ugdymas, puoselėjantis vaiko gebėjimą kurti, leidžiantis pajusti tapatumo ir išskirtinumo jausmą, rasti savo vietą socialinėje ir kultūrinėje aplinkoje. ENArticle discusses positive aspects of the process of socialization, which are connected with rendering of social culture to youth. Positive socialization is connected with the process of education, whose constituent part is education of applied art. The content of this subject and its values are important for child’s socialization and inculturation. Child’s, as personality’s, integration into wider socio- cultural elements is an important task of education and socialization. Applied art is important for the quality and the values of realization of education and socialization. Applied art encourages childrens’ ability to create, allows them to feel their identity and particularity. It also helps to find their own place in social and cultural surroundings. Various changing tendencies of nowadays political, social, cultural life prompts professionals of education and other kinds of science to search for advanced ways of childrens’ socialization, seeking to ensure their full integration into communities of their country and world. G. K viekienė (2003) states that positive socialization takes an important part in the process of individual socialization, when social problems have to be solved and effective means have to be found. Theories which analyze relations of individuals and society (Vaitkevičius, Gaižutis, Matonis) single out the paradigm of self-creation, formation of social and artistic identity. The idea of rendering of culture to youth is becoming important, since social development of individuals have always to do with cultural traditions, part of which are values, indicating the aims of the society. In the context of the aims of positive socialization, education of applied art is very important as a constituent of artistic education.The content and variety of education of applied art, the peculiarities of its expression and creative activities provide teachers with the opportunities to understand the ways of rendering values, getting knowledge about the world, culture, creative education, understanding of individuality and social abilities. The aim of the research is to reveal the opportunities of education of applied art in the process of positive children’s socialization in the cultural aspect. Positive socialization is important for the process of human socialization. It implies the process of rendering culture to the young generation, and determines the aim of human socialization and representation of culture. Education is also an important part of human socialization and inculturation. It integrates young people into social and cultural surroundings by educating them and referring to cultural values, provided by the society. Education of applied art is creative people’s communication, interaction with the surroundings and values of human culture. The content of applied art and its opportunities of integration allow to associate this education with social and cultural life, creation of value system, to educate students’ world-view, to create problematic learning context, to develop thinking skills, life experience and competences. Socio- cultural integration of this education guarantees harmony of the process of education and its content with socio-cultural surroundings. Education of applied art improves students’ general abilities, cherishes spiritual world, based on humanistic values, educates artistic and aesthetic abilities, which help them to express themselves, to communicate, to give sense to individual activities in social and cultural surroundings.Children’s education of applied art is connected, formed and reflects not only individual culture, but also culture of the society, nation and human kind. The concept of education of applied art in a particular society is determined by the evaluation of experience of social and cultural life, the attitude towards the role of school for the individual’s education, the conception of the essence of art and artistic education, synthesis of student’s needs and education and aims. The opportunities of artistic education in this sence are very big: the content of the links of socialization and artistic education can be associated with the surroundings of the educated. This content must correspond to students’ age, experience, interests, etc. Inter-disciplinary integration of education of applied art is orientated to the combination of aims, tasks, content of education of particular subjects, to the search of system and community of social integration and education of applied art.
