Žaidimas mitu ar mito kūrimas? (Sauliaus Tomo Kondroto apysaka Kentauro Herbo giminė)

LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjami Sauliaus Tomo Kondroto apysakoje „Kentauro herbo giminė“ panaudoti mitų elementai; keliama hipotezė, jog tarsi iš atsitiktinių mito nuotrupų sukonstruotame pasakojime galima apčiuopti giluminę mito struktūrą. Iš pažiūros laisvai žaisdamas mitiniais elementais ir įvaizdžiais bei imituodamas mitą autorius nenukrypsta nuo mitinio kodo ir pavieniai mitų elementai tampa mitiniu pasakojimu apie žemiškojo ir dieviškojo suverenumo santykius. Sauliaus Tomo Kondroto apysakoje esama akivaizdžių sąsajų su mitais ir mitiškumu. Iš pirmo žvilgsnio gali pasirodyti, jog fantastiškame Kondroto kūrinyje mito ir pasakos elementai vartojami sukeistinimo, nutolinimo efektui kurti. Apysakoje S. T. Kondrotas tarytum žaidžia mitu apie Lietuvos didikų kilmę iš romėnų, kurdamas tekstą pasitelkia atsitiktinius vardus iš Lietuvos metraščio, kitų istorinės raštijos paminklų, apskritai iš Lietuvos XV-XVI a. istorijos rašymo ir tyrinėjimo diskurso. Savitai jungdamas mito elementus į pasakojamą istoriją, Kondrotas nenukrypsta nuo vokiečių romantikų pradėto literatūrinės fantastikos kūrimo būdo, tapusio savotiška dvidešimtojo amžiaus mitokūra. Nagrinėjant apysakoje „Kentauro herbo giminė“ panaudotus mitinius elementus ryškėja, jog jie vienas kitą papildo, o teksto giluminė struktūra atitinka semantinį mitinį kodą. ENThe article deals with the elements of a myth used in the story ‘Family of the Centaur’s coat of arms’ by Saulius Tomas Kondratas; a hypothesis is made that an in-depth structure of a myth may be felt in the story which is as though constructed from random fragments of a myth. At first sight, the author plays freely with elements and images of a myth, imitates a myth, yet does not diverge from the mythical code, and individual elements of a myth turn into a mythical story about the relations between an earthly and divine sovereignty. The story has obvious links with myths and mythic features. At first sight, it may seem that the elements of a myth and fairytale are used to create the effect of strangeness and furtherness in this fantastic story. In the story, Kondrotas plays around with the myth about the origin of the Lithuanian nobility from the Romans, uses random names from the Chronicle of Lithuania, other historical written sources, the story writing and research discourse of Lithuania in the 15–16th c., in general, while creating the text. While originally connecting the elements of a myth into a told story, Kondrotas does not diverge from the method of creating literary fantasy started by German romanticism representatives that became a kind of myth creation of the 19th c. The analysis of the elements of a myth used in the story ‘Family of the Centaur’s coat of arms’ reveals that they supplement each other, and the in-depth structure of the text corresponds to the semantic mythical code. The myth about the Palemonids, supplemented with the transformation of the main character into an animal with a seme of divinity, turns into a mythical story about granting of the ruler’s powers and their legitimisation at the divine level in Kondrotas’s story.
