ENThis dissertation provides an overview of personal pronouns and their history in all Balto-Slavic languages. Common Slavic, East Baltic, West Baltic, Balto-Slavic and Indo- European system of personal pronouns (including accentuation) is reconstructed, and the Balto-Slavic system of personal pronouns is derived from Proto-Indo-European. In the reconstruction of Proto-Indo-European personal pronouns, emphasis is placed on Balto- Slavic data and its use in the reconstruction. We also deal with several problems of historical phonology, accentology and morphology of Slavic and Balto-Slavic which are related to the reconstruction of personal pronouns. [...].
