ENLaw and morality shares the same essence normative aspect. They both regulate relationships among people. Values determine if morality becomes law or vice versa - law becomes morality. The use of criminal law as the means for solving social problems shows the repressive nature of society. There are no non-moral institutes, categories of criminal law. Criminal law provisions should be applied in the light of basic values. Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania is the main value legal document. Declared values and values used in everyday's life, criminal policy making are not the same. Criminal law nowadays is seen as propriate remedy to cope with various moral problems. Hippocratic Oath as a moral document should not be interpreted without sociocultural value context. The present values determines the content of Hippocratic oath. [From the publication]
