LTStraipsnyje analizuojama aktuali mokslinė problema: kokiomis ugdymo formomis turėtų pasižymėti ikimokyklinės ugdymo institucijos veikla, kad ji realizuotų demokratinio ugdymo veiksnius, t.y. vaiko vertybines nuostatas bei individualius jo gebėjimus, teisę ir laisvę pasirinkti. Ši problema pateikiama teoriniame ir empiriniame lygmenyse. Pirmoji straipsnio dalis skirta demokratinių vertybių ir demokratinių ugdymo veiksnių teorinei analizei. Antroji - demokratinių vertybių ugdyme ir demokratinio ugdymo veiksnių išryškinimui. Trečiojoje darbo dalyje pateikiami kokybinio tyrimo rezultatai, atskleidžiantys demokratinio ugdymo veiksnių raišką kai kuriose ikimokyklinio ugdymo institucijose. ENThe paper deals with a relevant research problem what forms of education should the activity of pre-school education institution manifest in order to realize the factors of democratic education: child's attitudes and his intellectual abilities; freedom of choice; The problem is presented in the theoretical and empirical levels. The first part of the paper is for theoretical analysis of democratic values and democratic education factors. The second part highlights the democratic values and the factors democratic education. The third part of the paper presents the results of the qualitative research. They say that in pre-school institutions it is possible to come across the moments of the factors of democratic education. The activity of pre-school education institutions in order to organize the community is evident, and children become a link between teachers and parents, but activeness is more distinct in the role of the educational institution. Teachers of pro school educational institutions analyze the aspects of creation of positive communication and collaboration environment, possibilities of the development of children's social competence in pre-school education; the role of prc-school educational institution on development of child's self-confidence and self-esteem. When creating suitable educational environments, pre school education institution teachers apply the results of the research carried out in their own institutions. They try to work with their colleagues and reassess the routine work. It is possible to make a presumption that openness and trust become the most important values in their activity.
