Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjama itin aktuali jaunimo verslumo ugdymo problema. Be to, respondentai, pritardami, jog projektai ypač skatina jaunimo verslumą, patys nėra linkę dalyvauti projektinėje veikloje. ENAuthors deals with the problems of Entrepreneurship education at the institutions of General education. In the first part of the article the enterprise's conception is traversed by theoretical aspect and documents of the European Union and Lithuania, which regulates the education of the enterprise. When Lithuania did start to develop as a country of market economy, the social cohesion did become most important task for whole society. The enterprise is seen as a main actor for strengthening social cohesion. The enterprise is characterised as an implementation of the new ideas, which involves qualities of self sufficiency, activeness, etc. In this context the enterprise's education isn't identical with the economic literacy, but these grounds can match up rather closely. The authors did point out that Lithuania attempts to implement the strategic objectives of Lisbon, for example to consolidate economic situation, social cohesion, employment and creation of new work's places. It is stressed that during framing new working places society needs to stimulate the enterprise culture. In nowadays the data flow is redoubling, because the market economy is changing the purposes of training inside of comprehensive school. The enterprise's education curriculum is developed and started to be implemented at different levels of schooling. The data of empirical research on attitudes of teachers towards possibilities for entrepreneurship education is presented and analysed in the second part of the article. The survey did run in different regions of Lithuania and did involve 202 teachers from basic and secondary schools. The main conclusions are made on the basis of data analyses. Firstly, Lithuania as a member state of European Union accepts the idea for educating active entrepreneurs. And did develop special programs for implementing them into national curriculum for secondary education. Secondly, data did show that teachers do agree with importance of entrepreneurship education of young generation at secondary schools. Thirdly, respondents feel that they do need some more training by themselves in order to educate students. Fourthly, even if teachers understand the importance of integrating entrepreneurs ideas into subjects, they do not do usually while teaching certain subjects. [From the publication]
