Vilniaus miesto ir pilies ryšiai XVI-XVIII a.

LTXVI-XVI1I a. tiek pilis, tiek ir miestas buvo sudėtingi juridiniai dariniai. Pilies teritorijoje tradiciškai išskiriamos trys jurisdikos - valdovo, bažnyčios ir vaivadijos. Dar sudėtingesnė šiuo požiūriu yra Vilniaus miesto urbanistinė erdvė. Visiškai suprantama, kad straipsnio apimtis neleidžia atskleisti pilies ir miesto sąveikos, tai yra žymiai ilgesnio darbo rezultatas; be to, mus pasiekę rašytiniai šaltiniai negali atsakyti į visus rūpimus ir keliamus klausimus. Todėl straipsnyje dėmesys sutelkiamas į Vilniaus miestiečių, t. y. miesto bendruomenės, ryšius su valdovo p i l i m i . Šiai problemai atskleisti pasirinkta š a l t i n ių bazė taip pat neišvengiamai daro įtaką objektui ir straipsnyje keliamoms problemoms. Kaip analizuotinas problemas derėtų išskirti miesto jungties su pilimi klausimus, Lietuvos didžiųjų kunigaikščių rezidavimo Vilniaus pilyje aplinkybes, Vilniaus miestiečių protekcijų faktus, konfliktus tarp Vilniaus miesto ir bajoriškų institucijų, veikusių pilies teritorijoje, Vilniaus miesto ir pilies įgulos sambūvį XVII a. antrojoje pusėje. Straipsnyje iš esmės neliečiami pilies bažnytinės jurisdikos ir miesto gyventojų santykiai. ENIn the 16th – 18th century both the castle and the city were complex juridical formations. On the territory of the castle traditionally three jurisdictions were distinguished – those of the ruler, the church and the voivodeship. The urban area of the Vilnius city is even more complex. It is obvious that the scope of the article does not allow for revealing the interrelation between the castle and the city, which would be a result of a much more lengthy study; in addition the available written sources cannot provide the answers to all the questions. Therefore the attention is dedicated to the relations between the Vilnius townspeople, i. e. the city community and the ruler’s castle. The range of sources, selected in order to reveal the problem, unavoidably influences the subject and problems, tackled upon in the article. Among the analyzed problems, the following should be highlighted: the issues of the relation between the city and the castle, the circumstances of residing of grand dukes of Lithuania in the Vilnius castle, the facts of protection of Vilnius townspeople, the conflicts between the Vilnius city and the nobility institutions, which acted on the territory of the castle and the coexistence of the Vilnius city and the castle military crew in the second half of the 17th century. The article in essence does not tackle upon the relations between the church jurisdiction of the castle and the residents of the city.
