Dorinimo problemos "aktyviosios mokyklos" teorijoje ir praktikoje

LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjama aktyviosios mokyklos teorija ir praktika moralinio auklėjimo klausimais: pateikiama "aktyviosios mokyklos" moralinio auklėjimo samprata, tikslai, uždaviniai, turinys, organizavimo formos ir metodai, atskleidžiami įvairūs požiūriai į moralinį auklėjimą, jo sąsajas su religija, analizuojama naujųjų mokyklų moralinio auklėjimo praktika. Aktyviosios mokyklos idėjos ragino rodyti meilę ir pagarbą vaikui, kritiškai vertinti autoritarinius ugdymo metodus, remtis patirties principu, vaiko interesais, akcentuoti neigiamą baimės, prievartos poveikį vaiko asmenybei, remtis teigiamais pedagoginiais santykiais. Galima teigti, kad aktyviajai mokyklai rūpėjo ne tik mokymo, bet ir moralinio auklėjimo problemos. Tačiau naujojo ugdymo sąjūdis nebuvo vienalytis, ypač ryškiai skyrėsi Vakarų Europos naujosios mokyklos ir JAV progresyvistinės. Atskirų autorių moralinio auklėjimo koncepcijos skyrėsi tikslais, turiniu, struktūra, metodais, formomis. Tarptautinėse konferencijose, kongresuose buvo nagrinėjamos moralinio auklėjimo problemos, o lyginamųjų tyrimų pagrindu mėginta kurti naujus auklėjimo principus ir technologiją. Tikyba, kaip atskiras dalykas, naujosiose mokyklose nebuvo dėstoma, tačiau religinis auklėjimas laikytas moralinio auklėjimo pagrindu. Aktyviosios mokyklos idėjos atsispindėjo ir Lietuvos pedagogų ieškojimuose 1918-1940 m.

ENThe article analyses the different outlooks of "active school" to moral education in the beginning of the 20-th century in the West and USA. Based on comparative analysis, the article reviews attitudes of various authors (J. Dewey, F. Foerster, M. Montessory and others) towards the child and towards 'he main principles, the content, forms and methods of moral education. The author presents international conferences and international researches of moral education problems. The ideas of "new education" reflected in the searches of educators in Lithuania. The author draws the conclusion that all searches were more partial, the universal theory of moral education wasn't founded. [From the publication]The article analyses the theory of active school and practical experience on moral education issues: delivers moral education concept, objectives, tasks, content, organisation forms and methods of the “active school”; discloses various attitudes towards moral education, its interaction with religion; and analyses moral education practices of new schools. Active school ideas encouraged expressing love and respect to a child, critically evaluate authoritarian education methods, base their activities on the principle of experience and interests of a child, highlight negative influence of fair and constrain on personality of a child, and pursue positive pedagogical relations. It might be maintained that active school took care of not only teaching, but also moral education problems. However, new education movement was not indiscrete, especially differed new schools of the West Europe and the USA progressive schools. Moral education concepts of various authors differed by their goals, contents, structure, methods, and forms. International conferences and congresses analysed moral education problems, while comparative research aimed to create new education principles and technologies. Religious education, as separate subject, was not taught in new schools, but religious education construed the bases of moral education. Active school ideas were reflected in scientific searches of Lithuanian pedagogues of 1918-1940.
