Įsivaizduojamas Lietuvos istorijos vaizdų albumas

LTStraipsnyje iškeliama problema, iki šiol trukdanti visavertę Lietuvos istorijos reprezentaciją visuomenėje. Lituanistinės tematikos istorinė dailė yra tyrinėta labai menkai, dar menkiau ji funkcionuoja šiuolaikinėje kultūrinėje apyvartoje. Tačiau be praeities įvaizdinimo pastangų modernios istorinės savimonės raida vargu ar įmanoma. Vienu iš žingsnių šia linkme galėtų tapti Lietuvos istorijos vaizdų albumas. Šiame straipsnyje gana įvairialypį dailės palikimą bandoma tiesiog grupuoti pagal tam tikrus mūsų krašto istorijos chronologijos principus, kas savaime suponuoja ir tam tikrą modelį - įsivaizduojamą albumą. Galimos mažiausiai dvi iš principo skirtingos albumo koncepcijos: 1) albumas kaip iliustruota Lietuvos istorija ir 2) albumas kaip tekstas apie Lietuvos istoriją. Bendriausiais bruožais pagrindinį skirtumą tarp šių dviejų pozicijų sudarytų istorinės dailės kūrinio naratyvumo ir meninės įtaigos funkcinis santykis su žodine istorijos interpretacija. Tokie du galimi albumo formavimo būdai reikalauja ir šiek tiek skirtingų vizualinės medžiagos resursų. Pirmuoju atveju neišvengiamai derėtų "pereiti" visą valstybės formavimosi, augimo, žlugimo, atkūrimo etc. istoriją, stengiantis daugmaž proporcingai sudėlioti vaizdus ir pateikti tarsi objektyvizuotą praeities viziją. Antruoju atveju istorinėje laiko skalėje galimas ir netgi neišvengiamas tam tikras vaizdų (ar jų grupių) tarpusavio autonomiškumas bei hierarchija, nes orientuojamasi į esmingiausius tautos ir valstybės praeities įvykius, kurie daugiausia "eksploatuoti" istorinėje dailėje.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Ikonografija; Iconography.

ENThe article highlights the problem, which still hinders a full-rate representation of the history of Lithuania within the society. The historical art of Lithuanian subjects has not been studied extensively and its functioning in the modern cultural turnover is even less significant. However, any development of modern historical self-perception is impossible without attempts of imaging the past. An album of images of the history of Lithuania could be a step in this direction. The article makes attempts to group a rather miscellaneous artistic heritage according to certain principles of chronology of the history of the land, which presupposes a certain model, i. e. an album. At least two different concepts of the album are possible: 1) an illustrated history of Lithuania and 2) a text on the history of Lithuania. In general terms the main difference between the two positions would be the functional relation between narrative of a creation of historical art and the artistic expression and the verbal interpretation of history. Such two ways of formation of the album require different visual material resources. In the first case it would be unavoidably necessary to “pass through” the entire history of formation, development, downfall, resurrection, etc. of the state, making attempts to proportionately lay out the images and present the objectified vision of the past. In the second case a certain mutual autonomy and hierarchy of images (or groups of images) is possible and even unavoidable within the time scale, since the work would be focused on the essential events of the past of the nation and the state, most “exploited” in historical art.
