Cimbolai ir muzikavimo jais tradicija Lietuvoje = Lithuanian traditions of dulcimer playing

LTStraipsnyje apžvelgiama cimbolų raidą pasaulyje, daugiausia dėmesio skiriant Europai. Šis muzikos instrumentas lyginamas su kaimyninėse šalyse paplitusiais to paties tipo instrumentais, parodoma muzikavimo cimbolais tradicija Lietuvoje, ilgėliau stabtelėjama prie repertuaro, jo skambinimo skirtumų ir instrumento meistravimo būdų, taip pat pirmą kartą lietuvių etnomuzikologijoje mėginama klasifikuoti cimbolus pagal jų sandarą. Atliekant tyrimus taikyti aprašomasis, lyginamasis tipologinis ir geografinio kartografavimo metodai. ENThe article presents a survey of the development of dulcimer in the world, with a special focus on Europe. A comparison is drawn between this instrument and its counterparts in neighbouring countries. The traditions of playing dulcimer in Lithuania are demonstrated while going into somewhat deeper analysis of the repertoire, differences of playing dulcimer and methods of making this instrument. In addition, the article presents first attempts of classifying dulcimer by their composition in the Lithuanian ethnomusicology. The investigation is based on several methods: descriptive, comparative typological, and geographical cartographic. [From the publication]
