LTStraipsnis parengtas statistinių duomenų, Lietuvos Respublikos Seimo priimtų įstatymų, Vyriausybės priimtų nutarimų dėl vaikystės politikos tobulinimo ir šių dokumentų įgyvendinimo eigos analizės pagrindu. ENThe article is based on the analysis of statistical data and laws adopted by the Parliament of Republic of Lithuania, and Decrees of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on the upgrading of childhood policy and the implementation process of the said documents. It deals with the measures, implemented by Lithuanian national institutions, conducive to creating favourable environment to the childhood and to the strengthening of the family institution so that it would be able to perform the duties entrusted by the state and society, i.e. to raise children as moral, educated, and active citizens of the state and to increase the population of the country.
