LTŠiame straipsnyje pateikiama vertimo analizė, atsižvelgiant į kalbų struktūrinius skirtingumus ir galimybes, kurias suteikia funkcinės sakinio perspektyvos (FSP) realizavimas. Pateikiami lietuvių grožinės literatūros tekstai ir jų angliškieji vertimai, siekiant nustatyti, kokią rolę funkcinės sakinio perspektyvos perteikime vaidina žodžių tvarka. Analizė atskleidžia nepanaudotų galimybių sritis, o antra vertus, ir priemones, kurios įgalina išreikšti funkcinę lietuviškojo sakinio perspektyvą, arba minties eigą, vertime. ENThe article presents the analysis of translation, referring to the structural differences and the possibilities, provided by the implementation of the functional perspective of the sentence and presents Lithuanian fiction texts and their translations into the English language for the purpose of establishing the role of the word order in the conveyance of the functional perspective of the sentence. The analysis reveals the areas of unused possibilities and, on the other hand, the means, providing the possibilities to express the functional perspective or the thought-flow of a Lithuanian sentence in translation.
