Nauja dviejų lietuviškos filosofinės raštijos tradicijų tąsa : recenzija

LTRecenzijoje aptariama Jūratės Baranovos knyga „Istorijos filosofija" (V.: Alma littera, 2000). Knyga vertinama kaip organiška dviejų lietuviškos filosofinės raštijos tradicijas. Viena jų prasidėjo 1974 m., kai "Minties” leidykla išleido XIX ir XX amžių Vakarų Europos ir Amerikos filosofijos istorijos chrestomatiją, kuria patęsė ištisa filosofijos istorijos chrestomatijų serija, tapusi vienu ryškiausių lietuvių ikisąjūdinės kultūrinės rezistencijos paminklų. Antra lietuviškos filosofinės raštijos tradicija, kurios ištakos siekia S. Šalkausko ir A.Maceinos kūrybą tarpukario laikais yra išskirtinis susidomėjimas kultūros ir istorijos filosofijos problematika. Nuo kitų lietuviškų teminių filosofijos chrestomatijų J. Baranovos knyga skiriasi tuo, kad turi dar ir vadovėlio bei mokslinės monografijos bruožų. Ištraukas iš garsių istorijos filosofijos tekstų papildo J. Baranovos pateikiamos jų autorių istoriosofinių vizijos apžvalgos, o taip pat tų tekstų recepcijos analizė. Taip autorė išgauna nedažnai sutinkamą intelektualinės polifonijos bei multiperspektyviškumo efektą. Recenzentas nurodo kai kurias faktines klaidas, pasigenda gilesnės teorinės refleksijos autorės naudojamose „klasikinės" ir „ikiklasikinės" istorijos filosofijos sąvokose, o taip pat atsakymo į tokius klausimus: ar istorijos filosofija yra tiesiog seniai nebegyvas intelektualinis projektas, kurio likimą galima būtų lyginti natūrfilosofijos likimu? ENThe review discusses Jūratė Baranova’s book “Istorijos Filosofija" (V.: Alma littera, 2000). The book is viewed as an organic connection between two traditions of the Lithuanian philosophical writing. The first of them was commenced in 1974, when the "Mintis” publishing house published the reader of the history of philosophy of the Western Europe and America of the 19th and the 20th centuries, which continued the entire series of readers of history of philosophy, which became prominent monuments of the cultural resistance in Lithuania before the national movement. The second tradition of the Lithuanian philosophical writing, the beginnings of which reach the oeuvre of S. Šalkauskas and A. Maceina in the interwar period, is an exceptional interest in the problems of philosophy of culture and history of philosophy. J. Baranova’s book is different from other topical Lithuanian readers of philosophy that it also has traits of a handbook and a scientific monograph. The extracts from the well-known texts of philosophy of history are supplemented by the overviews of the vision of philosophy of history of the authors, presented by J. Baranova and the analysis of the reception of the texts. Thus the author obtains the effect of intellectual polyphony and multi-perspective, which is generally observed rather rarely. The reviewer notes certain actual errors and misses a deeper theoretic reflection in the “classic” and “pre-classic” concepts of philosophy of history, used by the author as well as an answer to the following questions: whether philosophy of history is just a long dead intellectual project, whose fate can be compared to that of natural philosophy and what is the relation between philosophy of history and the so-called historical sociology, with the sociological theory of modernization and with the comparative studies of civilizations.
