Rollenkopfnadeln des Typs Beckmann A im westbaltischen Kulturkreis

LTStraipsnyje glaustai aptariami labai būdingi romėniškojo laikotarpio baltų genčių teritorijai dirbiniai - smeigtukai su trikampe galvute, susukta į cilindrą (pagal Bernardo Beckmanno klasifikaciją - A tipas). Smeigtukai gaminti iš žalvario ir geležies. Šių smeigtukų kilmės be abejonės reikia ieškoti bronzos amžiaus ir ankstyvojo geležies amžiaus dirbinių formose. Duomenys apie šio tipo smeigtukų radinius papildyti archyviniais šaltiniais [...] Deja, daugeliu atveju išlikusi neišsami informacija. Vien ja remiantis galima padaryti tik kai kurias išvadas. Pirma: šie daiktai buvo paplitę gana didelėje vakarinių baltų teritorijos dalyje, jų nėra tik Lietuvos ir pietinės Latvijos pilkapynų srityje ir Dollkeim-Kovrovo kultūroje. Antra: A tipo smeigtukai buvo vakarinių baltų teritorijos gyventojų nešiosenos elementas visą ankstyvąjį romėniškąjį laikotarpį, įskaitant ir periodą B2/C1. Ankstyviausi B1 periodo egzemplioriai pasirodė Mozūruose vadinamojoje Bogaczewo kultūroje, kur šis papuošalas buvo populiariausias ir sulaukė didžiausios ornamentikos įvairovės. Šiuo metu nėra galimybės pasekti chronologinę raidą. Iš Mozūrų srities A tipo smeigtukų tik geležinius reikia laikyti vėlyviausiais ir datuoti B2/C1 periodu. To paties laiko yra geležiniai smeigtukai iš Suvalkų srities ir Rytų Lietuvos. Trūksta duomenų A tipo žalvariniams smeigtukams iš Lietuvos pajūrio datuoti. Jie sudaro atskirą ryškią grupę, deja, visi radiniai iki šiol yra atsitiktiniai. Puošnūs A tipo smeigtukai rodo savitarpio ryšius baltų genčių teritorijoje mūsų eros pradžioje. ENThe article provides a discussion of the characteristic territorial articles of the Baltic tribes of the Roman period, i. e. the pins with triangular head, twisted into a cylinder (the A type according to Bernard Beckmann’s classification). The pins are made of brass and iron. Their origins should be searched for in the shapes of the Bronze Age and the early Iron Age articles. The data on the findings are supplemented by archive sources [...] Unfortunately, in most cases the information is not comprehensive and only certain conclusions can be drawn. First, the articles were spread on a quite large part of the Western Baltic territory, they are not present only in the area of Lithuanian and Southern Latvian barrows and in the Dollkeim-Kovrovo culture. Secondly, the pins of the A type were an element of gear of the inhabitants of the Western Baltic territory throughout the early Roman period, including the B2/C1 period. The earliest specimen of the B1 period occurred in the Masuria in the so-called Bogaczewo culture, where the decoration was the most popular and attained the largest diversity of ornament. At present there are no possibilities to trace the chronological development. Out of the pins of the A type, found in Masuria only the iron ones can be considered the late period ones and be dated the B2/C1 period. The iron pins from the Eastern Lithuanian Suwalki area are also from the said period. There is a lack of information, which would help to date the brass pins of the A type from the sea-coastal region of Lithuania. They form a separate prominent group, but unfortunately, all the findings are random. The ornate pins of the A type show the interrelations on the territory of the Baltic tribes at the beginning of the A. D. era. The article also discusses the findings outside the Western limits of the Baltic territory and the collected materials are presented in the form of a catalogue.
