Virtuali skaitmeninio paveldo sistema - atminties institucijų sąveikos paveldas

LTPasaulį apimant visuotinumui, tautinio tapatumo išsaugojimo problemos tampa itin aktualios. Kultūros paveldo, kaip gyvosios kultūros vertybių sistemos, padedančios išlaikyti tautinį tapatumą ir kartu atveriančios galimybes kultūros raiškai pasaulio tautų bendrijoje, puoselėjimas ir šios sistemos vertybių sklaida tapo vienu svarbiausių Europos Sąjungos kultūros politikos prioritetų. Tai patvirtina pastarųjų metų Europos Komisijos komunikatai ir programos, skatinančios kultūros ir mokslo paveldo skaitmeninimą ir jo integravimą į Europos skaitmeninį turinį. Kalbant apie Lietuvos atminties institucijų pastangas atverti jose saugomus kultūros lobius juos skaitmeninant, galima tvirtinti, kad, iki pradedant Lietuvos nacionalinei Martyno Mažvydo bibliotekai kartu su partneriais - Lietuvos dailės muziejumi ir Lietuvos archyvų departamentu - vykdyti projektą, atminties institucijų veikla šalyje nebuvo koordinuojama, tokio pobūdžio darbai buvo atsitiktinio pobūdžio. Publikacijoje pristatomas projektas yra pirmasis tokio plataus masto ir tokio pobūdžio kultūros projektas, suvienijęs skirtingų žinybų kultūros įstaigas - archyvus, bibliotekas ir muziejus bendram tikslui - atverti kultūros paveldą kiekvienam mūsų šalies piliečiui ir pasauliui. Šioje publikacijoje daugiausia dėmesio skiriama metodologiniams ir technologiniams sprendiniams, užfiksuotiems Virtualios skaitmeninio paveldo sistemos lingvistiniame aprūpinime, kuris leido sukurti efektyvia architektūrą, užtikrinti patikimą skaitmeninių objektų archyvavimą, efektyvią sklaidą ir suderinamumą su veikiančiomis partnerių sistemomis: LIBIS, LAFS, RIS.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Atminties institucijos; Kultūros apveldas; Skaitmenininimas; Informacijos sistemos; Memory institutions; Culture heritage; Digitization; Information systems.

ENAs the world is in the process of globalization, the problems of preservation of the national identity become especially relevant. Nurturing of the cultural heritage as a live system of cultural values, which helps to retain the national identity and opens the possibilities for cultural expression in the community of the world’s nations and dissemination of the values of the system became one of the most important priorities of cultural politics of the European Union, which is evidenced by the communications and programmes of the European Commission of the later years, encouraging the digitalization of the cultural and scientific heritage and its integration into the European digital content. When talking about the attempts of Lithuanian memory institutions to open the stored cultural treasures by their digitalization, one can state that, prior to the commencement of execution of the project by the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania with the partners – the Lithuanian Art Museum and Lithuanian Archives Department, the activities of the memory institutions in the country were not coordinated and the works of such type were of a random character. The project, presented in the publication is the first cultural project of such a wide scope, joining the culture institutions of different institutions, i. e. archives, libraries and museums for the common purpose, i. e. the opening of the cultural heritage to each and every citizen of the country and to the world. The publication dedicates most attention to the methodological and technological solutions, registered in the linguistic supply to the virtual digital heritage system, which allowed for development of an efficient architecture, ensuring a reliable archiving of digital objects, efficient dissemination and compatibility with the functioning partners’ systems, i. e. LIBIS, LAFS and RIS.
