LTŠiuo straipsniu siekiama prisidėti prie Europos Sąjungos sprendimų plėsti socialinės sferos dimensiją, aktualizuoti sociokultūrinio darbo sritis ir atskleisti bendruomenių ugdymo socialinius ir kultūrinius ypatumus Lietuvoje. Straipsnio tikslas - iškelti sociokultūrinio darbo sampratos dilemą. Viena vertus, socialiniai darbuotojai pripažįsta, jog jiems trūksta kultūrinių kompetencijų, kita vertus, kultūros darbuotojai nėra įsisąmoninę, jog jų veikla tiesiogiai susijusi su socialinių paslaugų teikimu. Analizuojant sociokultūrinio bendruomenės ugdymo mokslines teorines prielaidas, socialinių ir kultūrinių ugdymo veiksnių ypatumus bendruomenėje, atskleidžiama, jog sociokultūrinės veiklos reglamentavimas Lietuvoje nėra įsisąmonintas nei valstybės, nei bendruomenės. Bendruomenėse gyvenantiems žmonėms keliamas uždavinys išsaugoti tradicinę gyvenseną neatitinka globalėjančio pasaulio vystymosi tendencijų. Šį teiginį liudija kokybinio tyrimo, atlikto valstybės saugomų teritorijų bendruomenėje, duomenys (D. Savickaitė, 2007), atskleidžiantys, kaip suvokia socialinius reiškinius darbuotojai, tenkinantys kultūrines reikmes (kultūrologai), kiek sąmoningas sociokultūrinių darbo sutelkties sričių, kompetencijų, veiklos metodų ir formų pasirinkimas, atliekant sociokultūrinį darbą bendruomenėje. ENThe purpose of this article is to express support to the European Union decision to extend the dimension of social range, to draw attention to the socio-cultural work and to disclose the peculiarities of community socio-cultural education in Lithuania. The article seeks to draw attention to the dilemma of the conception of socio-cultural work. From one point of view, social workers acknowledge that they lack cultural competences, from other - people working in the sector of culture do not perceive that their work directly concerns provision of social services. On the basis of the analysis of the scientific theoretic presumptions of socio-cultural community education, the peculiarities of social and cultural education factors in the community, it is observed that the regulation of socio-cultural activities in Lithuania is not perceived by either the state or the society. The purpose to maintain a traditional pattern of life for people living in communities contradicts the progressive tendencies of the world. The statement is supported by the results of qualitative analysis, conducted in the community of state protected territories (Dalia Savickaite, 2007). The study shows the differences of perception of social events by culturologists, and which factors have an impact on the choice of socio-cultural work areas, competencies, methods of activities and forms of socio-cultural work in a community.
