Vilniaus pasaulietinės iškilmės ir jų apipavidalinimas XVIII a. viduryje

LTStraipsnyje aptariamas Vilniuje rengtų pasaulietinių iškilmių pobūdis ir jų apipavidalinimas, remiantis XVIII a. periodinėje spaudoje skelbiamomis žiniomis. Didžiausios iškilmės rengtos Vilniaus vaivadų ir vyskupų ingresų proga. Straipsnyje aptariama, kaip ingresams rengiamose proginėse dekoracijose reiškiama pagarba naujam valdytojui ir su juo siejami lūkesčiai. Plačiau nagrinėjama 1765 m. vykusio Mykolo Kazimiero Oginskio įžengimo į Vilniaus vaivadiją puošyba, parodoma herbinės simbolikos svarba pasaulietinių iškilmių dekoracijose. Kita aptariamų iškilmių grupė - skirta valdovo garbei. Jos rengtos išskirtinių įvykių - valdovo išrinkimo, karūnavimo, jo paties ir šeimos narių laidotuvių - proga. Išsamiau pristatomos kasmet Vilniuje švenčiamos valdovo vardinės ir karūnavimo metinės, turėjusios savą dekoravimo tradiciją. Pagrindinis jų vizualinis akcentas būdavo fejerverkai. Šių dekoracijų simbolikoje dažniausiai pabrėžiamos valdovo kaip valstybės gynėjo pareigos (pvz., fejerverkuose naudotos citadelės, riterio su kalaviju ir skeptru, Marso su ugniniu kamuoliu ir kalaviju rankose skulptūros). Pastebėta, kad panašiai kaip valdovo vardinės Vilniuje buvo apipavidalinami svarbių valstybės pareigūnų gimtadieniai ir vardinės. Tokių iškilmių dekoro akcentas būdavo pagerbiamo pareigūno portretas, inicialai ir herbas, inskripcijose būdavo gretinama asmens herbinė simbolika su jo pareigybe, būdo savybėmis ir žygiais. ENThe article discusses the character and decoration of secular festivities, organized in Vilnius, referring to the information, provided in periodical publications of the 18th century. The biggest festivities were arranged on occasions of ingresses of Vilnius voivods and bishops. The article discusses the ways the declarations, prepared on the occasions expressed the respect to and expectations from the new ruler. The decoration of entering of bishop Michal Kazimierz Oginski into Vilnius voivodeship in 1765 is examined more broadly and the importance of the coat of arms symbolism in decorations of secular festivities is shown. Another group of the festivities under discussion is dedicated to the honour of the ruler. Such festivities were arranged on the occasion of exceptional events, i. e. election, crowning of the ruler or funerals of the ruler or his family members. The annual celebrations of the birth and crowning of the ruler, which were celebrated in Vilnius each year and which had a peculiar tradition of decoration, are presented more comprehensively. Their main visual accent was the fireworks. The responsibilities of the ruler as the defender of the state were most frequently emphasized in the symbolism of the decorations (for instance, the fireworks employed citadels, sculptures of a knight with a sword and a scepter and the god Mars with the fireball and a sword in his hands). It has been mentioned that the birthdays and name-days of important state officials were decorated in a similar manner as the corresponding holidays of the ruler. An accent of decoration of such festivities was the portrait, initials and the coat of arms of the official, the inscriptions contained the coat of arms, position, traits of character and merits of the person. Another issue, discussed in the article is the role of the residents of Vilnius in arrangement of the celebrations.
