Vydūno dramaturgija : neišnaudota lietuvių teatro galimybė

LTXIX a. pabaigoje - XX a. pradžioje į kultūrinį Mažosios Lietuvos gyvenimą įsiterpusi Vilhelmo Storostos-Vydūno dramaturgija paliko savitą pėdsaką mėgėjiškojo lietuvių teatro raidoje. Mėgėjų sceną įkvėpusios tautinės-patriotinės idėjos joje nedalomai susilydė su veikiant rytietiškųjų kultūrų studijoms susiformavusios autentiškos Vydūno mąstysenos žymėmis dvasinį Mažosios Lietuvos klimatą vienaip ar kitaip kūrusiomis vokiečių kultūros įtaigomis bei Vokietijoje daug gaiviau nei Lietuvoje jaustais moderniosios XX a. pradžios estetikos potyriais. Lietuviškojo teatro ir Vydūno dramaturgijos nesantaikai, ko gero, stipriausią įtaką darė ta estetinė distancija, kuri žiojėjo tarp Mažosios Lietuvos rašytojo pasaulin įsigėrusiu vokiečių kultūros įdiegto mąstymo abstraktumo, filosofiškumo, idėjiškumo ir teatrinę Lietuvos kultūrą priekin stūmusios slaviškųjų įtaigų įkvėptos psichologizmo paieškos. ENAt the end of the 19th – the beginning of the 20th century the dramaturgy of Vilhelmas Storosta – Vydūnas, which entered into the cultural life of Lithuania Minor, left its peculiar trace in the development of the amateur theatre of Lithuania. The national-patriotic ideas, which inspired the amateur stage were merged with the characteristics of the authentic thinking of Vydūnas, which formed under the influence by the studies of the Eastern cultures, the suggestions of the German culture, which, in one way or another, influenced the spiritual climate of Lithuania Minor and the modern aesthetics of the beginning of the 20th century, which were more fresh in Germany than in Lithuania. The biggest influence on the conflict between the Lithuanian theatre and Vydūnas’s dramaturgy was, most likely, brought by the aesthetic distance, which existed between the world of the writer of the Lithuania Minor, saturated with the abstractness, philosophy, ideology of thinking, influenced by the German culture and the psychological searches, inspired by the Slavic suggestions, which pushed the theatrical culture of Lithuania forward.
