Pavelas Petrovas ir Lietuvos baleto raida 1925-1929 metais

LTProfesionaliojo Lietuvos baleto istorijos pradžia įprasta laikyti 1925 m. gruodžio 4 d. įvykusios Léo Delibes'o baleto "Kopelija" premjerą, o šio spektaklio statytoją ir pagrindinio vaidmens atlikėją Pavelą Petrovą vadinti pirmuoju Lietuvos choreografu bei pedagogu, padėjusiu pamatus tolesnei baleto meno raidai. Vis dėlto jo biografija bei darbo Valstybės teatre Kaune metai dar nėra iki galo ištyrinėti. Šio straipsnio tikslas - pasitelkiant naujus šaltinius - Lietuvos Literatūros ir meno archyve saugomus dokumentus (raštus, laiškus) bei Kauno spaudoje publikuotą informacinę bei interpretacinę medžiagą, taikant istorinį-chronologinį bei tipologinį metodus išsamiau panagrinėti kelerius Petrovo kūrybos ir veiklos Kaune metus, įvertinti jo kaip baletmeisterio bei pedagogo reikšmę pačios jauniausios Lietuvos teatrinės kultūros rūšies - baleto - tolesnei raidai. ENThe beginning of the history of professional Lithuanian ballet is considered the premier of the “Coppelia” ballet by Leo Delibes, which was held on 4 December, 1925 and the producer of the show and the performer of the main role Pavel Petrov is considered the first choreographer of Lithuania and the first pedagogue, who laid the foundations for the further development of the art of ballet. Nevertheless his biography and the years of his activities at the National Theatre in Kaunas have not yet been comprehensively studied. The article aims at, employing new sources, i. e. the documents/letters, stored in Lithuanian Archives of Literature and Arts and the informational and interpretational materials, published in Kaunas press and by applying the historical – chronological and typological methods to examine several years of creative activities of Petrov in Kaunas, evaluate his significance as a ballet-master and pedagogue for the further development of the youngest type of theatrical culture of Lithuania, i. e. ballet.
