Lietuvos urbanistikos paveldas ir jo vertybės. T. 3, kn. 2, Vakarų Lietuvos miestai ir miesteliai

LTLeidinyje pateikti Vakarų Lietuvos urbanistikos paveldo (miestų ir miestelių nenagrinėtų III tomo 1-ojoje knygoje) tyrinėjimų duomenys. Tyrimais buvo nustatyti išlikę vertingi objektų plano, apstatymo, tūrinės ir erdvinės kompozicijos elementai. Jų pagrindu regiono urbanistikos objektai (miestai ir miesteliai) skirstomi į: 1) valstybinės reikšmės juridinį statusą turinčių kultūros vertybių grupę, 2) savivaldybių reikšmės ir 3) tik su kultūrinės vertės požymiais bei vertybių juridinio statuso neturinčių objektų grupę. Apibūdinti kriterijai, kuriais remiantis įvertinti į minėtas grupes patekę objektai. Knygoje aprašyti Vakarų Lietuvos urbanistikos paveldo objektai, kurių pavadinimai prasideda N, o baigiasi Ž raide išskyrus Telšius ir Šiaulius (autoriaus manymu šiems mietams reiktų atskirų knygų). Knyga sudaryta iš dviejų dalių. Pirmojoje dalyje pateiktos objektų studijos, iš kurių anksčiau parašytosios yra papildytos nauja medžiaga ir patikslintos, dažniausiai nekeičiant baigtinės chronologijos. Antroje dalyje pateikiama iki šiol mokslo apyvartoje beveik arba visai nepanaudota prie vertingų paveldo objektų nepriskirtų miestų ir miestelių išliekamąją mokslinę ir praktinę reikšmę turinti kartografinė bei ikonografinė medžiaga: žemėlapių fragmentai, miestų ir miestelių tikrosios būklės planai bei projektai, vaizdai (panoramų, atskirų teritorijų, svarbesnių pastatų ar jų grupių daugiausia iki 1940 m. nuotraukos bei atvirukai). Visa abiejų knygos dalių medžiaga išdėstyta abėcėliškai pagal vietovių pavadinimus.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Miestai; Miesteliai; Formavimas; Urbanistika.

ENThe publication presents the data of studies of urbanistic heritage of the Western Lithuania (towns and settlements, which were not studied in Book 1 of Volume III). The studies identified the remaining valuable elements of the plan, development, volumetric and spatial composition of the objects, on the basis of which the urbanistic objects of the region (towns and settlements) are classified into: 1) the group of cultural values having the legal status of the state importance, 2) the group of cultural values having the legal status of municipal importance and 3) the group of objects, which have cultural value characteristics but do not have the legal status. The publication characterizes the criteria, referring to which the objects, which fall into the aforementioned groups, are evaluated. The book describes the objects of urbanistic heritage of the Western Lithuania, the names of which begin with N and end with Z, except Telšiai and Šiauliai (in the author’s opinion the said towns would need separate books dedicated to them). The book consists of two parts. The first presents the objects’ studies, the more early written of which are supplemented with new materials and clarified, most frequently without changing the final chronology. The second part presents the cartographical and iconographical materials of the towns and settlements, which are not attributed to valuable objects of heritage, which have scientific and practical value, and have not been used in the scientific turnover until present: fragments of maps, the plans and projects of the real state of towns and settlements, images (photographs and postcards, containing the images of panoramas, individual territories, more important buildings or their groups, mostly made before 1940). The totality of the materials of both parts of the book is presented alphabetically against the name of localities.
