Lietuviškų elementorių kalbotyros terminai

LTElementoriai buvo pirmieji lietuviški leidiniai, kuriuose pradėta kurti ir vartoti lietuviška kalbos mokslo terminija. Elementorių, kaip ir skaitymo ir rašymo vadovėlių, pobūdis lėmė, kad didžiąją juose vartojamos terminijos dalį sudaro fonetikos ir rašybos terminai, t.y. raides, garsus, pagrindines jų klases ir rūšis įvardijantys terminai. Morfologijos, skyrybos ir bendrieji kalbotyros terminai iš esmės vartojami tik XIX a. ir XX a. pirmaisiais dešimtmečiais išleistuose elementoriuose. Morfologijos terminų inventorių sudaro kalbos dalis bei pagrindines gramatikos kategorijas (linksnį, giminę, skaičių, laipsnį, laiką, nuosaką) įvardijantys terminai. Skyrybos ženklo sąvoka elementoriuose yra sudėtinė rašto ženklo sąvokos dalis. Visi rašto ženklai paprastai įvardijami vienu terminu, o konkrečius pavadinimus turi tik skyrybos ženklai. Elementoriai atspindi dalies kalbotyros, ypač fonetikos ir rašybos, terminų raidą. Nors dažnas, vėlesnių elementorių autorius buvo linkęs perimti iš kitų šaltinių (gramatikų, žodynų) žinomus terminus, bet yra ir tokių terminų, jų variantų ir reikšmės terminų, kurie kitur nerasti. Ne visi elementoriuose vartoti mokslo terminai yra patekę į "Lietuvių kalbos žodyną". Dabartiniai pagrindines kalbotyros sąvokas žymintys terminai nuosekliai pradėti vartoti pirmajame XX a. dešimtmetyje išleistuose elementoriuose. ENThe ABC-books were the first Lithuanian publications, in which the Lithuanian language scientific terminology was commenced to be developed and used. The character of the ABC-books, as that of the reading and writing handbooks determined that the largest share of the used terminology were the terms of phonetics and spelling, i. e. the terms, naming letters, sounds and their main types and classes. The terms of morphology, punctuation and general linguistic terms in essence are used only in the ABC-books, published in the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The inventory of morphological terms is formed of the terms, naming language parts and main grammatical categories (case, gender, number, degree, tense, mode). The concept of a punctuation mark in the ABC-books is an integral part of the concept of the writing sign. All the writing signs are usually named by one term and specific names are given only to punctuation marks. The ABC-books reflect the development of a part of terms of linguistics, especially phonetics and spelling. Although many an author of later ABC-books was inclined to take over the terms, known from other sources (grammar books, dictionaries), there also are such terms, their versions and meanings, which are unique. Not all the scientific terms, used in the ABC-books found their way into the "Lietuvių Kalbos Žodynas" (“The Dictionary of the Lithuanian Language”). The present terms, denoting the main linguistics concepts were commenced to be consequently used in the ABC-books, published in the beginning of the 20th century.
