Bankų kredito didėjimas makroekonominiu požiūriu

LTPasitelkus teorinę literatūrą ir ekonominius empirinius tyrimus, straipsnyje nagrinėjami viso šalies ūkio mastu svarbūs bankų kredito didėjimo aspektai. Pristatoma finansinio akceleratoriaus samprata, aptariamas kredito ciklas ir jo susidarymo prielaidos, spartaus šalies ūkio kreditavimo nauda ir keliama grėsmė finansų sistemos stabilumui. ENBy employing theoretic literature and economic empirical data, the article examines the aspects of increasing of the banks credit, important in terms of the entire economy of the country. The concept of the financial accelerator is presented, the credit cycle and the prerequisites for its emergence, the benefit of fast crediting of the country’s economy and the threat for the stability of the financial system are discussed. The article discusses theoretically how the credit boom can turn into a financial crisis. A lot of attention is dedicated to the increase of the credit of Lithuanian banks. Taking into consideration the non-balance of Lithuanian economy of the later years and the active banks credit politics, the article provides the opinion that the increase of the country’s banks credits is faster than that which would be most acceptable in social and economic terms.
