Senojo geležies amžiaus (I-IV a.) metaliniai žiedai

LTSenajame geležies amžiuje Lietuvoje pagausėja metalinių dirbinių. Daugėja ir papuošalų grupių. Metaliniai senojo geležies amžiaus žiedai - papuošalų grupė, sulaukianti mažiausiai tyrėjų dėmesio iš visų geležies amžiaus papuošalų grupių. Daugiau dėmesio skirta nebent ypatingesniems šio laikotarpio žiedams. Būtent archeologų dėmesio stoka paskatino imtis šios temos. Straipsnyje apžvelgiama menka šios temos istoriografija. Išvardyti darbai, kuriuose žiedai ne tik paminėti, bet jiems skirta ir kiek daugiau dėmesio. Antrojoje dalyje apžvelgta I-IV a. metalinių žiedų tipologija ir pasiūlyta savoji. Trečiajame skyriuje pateikiama informacija, kur ir kokie konkrečiai žiedai rasti, minimas jų datavimas Lietuvoje ir gretimose šalyse. Trumpai apžvelgta ir senojo geležies amžiaus metalinių žiedų puošyba bei bandyta rekonstruoti paprasčiausius gamybos būdus. Straipsnio tikslas - supažindinti su metalinių žiedų tipologija, išnagrinėti senojo geležies amžiaus metalinių žiedų puošybą, pabandyti rekonstruoti to amžiaus metalinių žiedų gamybą, o svarbiausia - surinkti kuo daugiau informacijos ir ją paskelbti. ENIn the old Iron Age the amount of metallic articles and groups of decorations increased in Lithuania. The metallic rings of the old Iron Age are a group of decorations, which attains least attention from the researchers among all the groups of decorations of the Iron Age. A greater attention is dedicated only to more peculiar rings of the period. It was the lack of attention by archeologists, which encouraged taking the subject on. The article overviews the sparse historiography of the subject and lists the studies, in which the rings are not just mentioned, but also more significant attention is dedicated to them. The second part of the article provides an overview of the typology of metallic rings of the 1st – 4th century and suggests its own typology. The third part provides the information on the specific rings found and the locations of discovery, mentions the dating of the rings in Lithuania and in the neighbouring countries, provides a brief overview of the decoration of metallic rings of the old Iron Age and makes attempts to reconstruct the most simple ways of making the rings. The article aims at getting the reader familiarized with the typology of metallic rings, examination of the decoration of the metallic rings of the old Iron Age, making attempts to reconstruct the making the metallic rings of the period, and, most importantly, collection and presenting of the maximum amount of information possible. The database totally mentions 403 rings, dated the old Iron Age.
