Strazdų, Ječiškių kapinynas: nauji duomenys apie laidoseną Nemuno žemupyje I tūkst. pr. Kr. ir romėniškajame laikotarpyje

LTPo 1945 m. Klaipėdos kraštą ištikusi tragedija, susijusi su gyventojų ir viso kultūrinio kraštovaizdžio pasikeitimu, nulėmė šio regiono savitumą bei išskirtinumą netgi paminklosaugine prasme. Nutrūkus archeologinių tyrimų tęstinumui, kai kurie proistoriniai objektai, kurie buvo gerai žinomi šiandien yra „pamesti“. Prie jų priskirtinas ir Strazdų, Ječiškių kapinynas. Straipsnyje sutalpintos visos net menkiausios žinios apie Strazdų, Ječiškių kapinyną ir radinius iš XX a. pradžios. Galima teigti, kad Strazdų, Ječiškių kapinyne laidota I tūkst. pr. Kr.–II tūkst. pradžioje. Tyrimų medžiaga ne tik suteikia naujų duomenų apie Nemuno žemupio kapinynų kultūrinę grupę, bet ir sudaro galimybes prielaidoms dėl šio regiono romėniškojo laikotarpio kapinynų genezės ir čia gyvenusių bendruomenių kontaktų su kitomis sritimis. Remiantis minėtais duomenimis bei Strazdų, Ječiškių kapinyno kapo Nr. 1 datavimu, galima spėti I tūkst. pr. Kr. Nemuno žemupyje buvus savitą (nors ir nedidelę) kultūrinę sritį, besiskiriančią nuo gretimų brūkšniuotosios keramikos ir Vakarų baltų pilkapių regionų. Šios kapinynų grupės teritoriniam ir chronologiniam apibrėžimui duomenų kol kas labai trūksta. Radiniai verčia galvoti apie tiesioginių kontaktų tarp Nemuno žemupio ir Bogačevo ar net Pševorsko kultūros buvimą. Jų atsiradimo priežastys, pobūdis ir raida kol kas plačiau neanalizuoti, tačiau, matyt, tai buvo dalis proceso, lėmusio Pševorsko kultūrai būdingų radinių pasirodymą Mozūrijos ežeryno teritorijoje B2/C1–C1a periodu. Archeologės A. ENThe tragedy the region of Klaipėda faced after 1945 changed its residents and the whole cultural landscape thus deterring the peculiarities of the region even in terms of monument preservation. With continuous archaeological research having been stopped, certain once well known prehistoric objects are now forgotten. The cemetery of Strazdai-Ječiškės is among them. The article contains all the information including even the most insignificant data about the cemetery of Strazdai-Ječiškės and findings of the beginning of the 20th c. It could be presumed that people were buried in this cemetery in the 1st millennium BC–beginning of the 2nd millennium. The research material not only provides new data about the cultural group of cemeteries of the lower reaches of Nemunas, but also allows assuming about the genesis of the Roman cemeteries of this region and about contacts local residents might have had with other fields of life. Based on the mentioned above data and the date of Grave No.1 of the cemetery of Strazdai-Ječiškės, it can be presumed that the lower reaches of Nemunas of the 1st millennium BC had a peculiar (although not big) culture different from the near hatched pottery and West Baltic Barrow Culture. There is still not enough data for territorial and chronological definition of this group of cemeteries. The findings encourage the thought about the existence of direct contacts between the cultures of the lower reaches of Nemunas and the Bogaczewo culture or even the Przeworsk culture. The causes of these contacts, their nature and development have not been analysed deeper, however, presumably, they were part of the process determining the location of findings characteristic of the Przeworsk culture in the territory of the Masurian Lake District in B2/C1–C1a.
