Stiliaus varžtuose : tautinės tapatybės paieškos tarpukario namų pramonės dirbiniuose

LTTarpukario valstybės politikos ir šalies šviesuomenės pastangomis buvo atgaivintos liaudies dirbinių gamybos tradicijos, išplėtota namų pramonė, užėmusi svarbią vietą modernioje kultūroje, leidusi atsiskleisti naujo etapo tautos kūrybinėms galioms. Itin aktyviai šioje sferoje darbavosi Žemės ūkio rūmų tarnautojas ir amatų instruktorius A. Tamošaitis, jo mokytojas muziejininkas ir autoritetingas liaudies meno tyrinėtojas P. Galaunė. Pastarasis sudarinėjo amatininkų veiklą ir liaudiškumo kriterijus reglamentuojančias taisykles, dalyvavo įvairiose komisijose, formulavo konkursų nuostatas, atrinkdavo dirbinius parodose, recenzavo juos spaudoje. P. Galaunės, A. Tamošaičio, I. Šlapelio ir kitų tarpukario tautinio stiliaus propaguotojų pastangomis buvo atvertas dar vienas liaudies amatų plėtros puslapis, kuris jau XX a. II pusėje laikytas savaimingai išaugusiu iš archajinių krašto tradicijų. Straipsnyje analizuojamos tautinio stiliaus susiklostymo aplinkybės tarpukario namų pramonės dirbiniuose, tęsiančiuose liaudies amatų tradicijas. Pasitelkus tarpukario amatininkų ir kaimo gyventojų spaudą, kitus rašytinius šaltinius, faktografinį, istorinį ir analitinį metodus, siekiama atskleisti, kokiomis propagandos priemonėmis to meto meistrai buvo auklėjami lietuviškumo dvasia, kaip buvo skatinamas tautinių formų palaikymas namų pramonės organizavimo pradinėje stadijoje (3-iojo dešimtmečio pabaigoje-4-ojo pradžioje) nukreipiant amatininkų pastangas liaudies tradicijų plėtojimo linkme.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Tarpukario kultūra; Namų pramonė; Tradiciniai amatai; Tautinis stilius; Žemės ūkio rūmai; žemės ūkio parodos; Paulius Galaunė; Antanas Tamošaitis; Ignas Šlapelis.

ENThe attempts, made by politicians and enlightened persons of the country during the interwar period revived the folk craft traditions, developed household manufacturing, which occupied an important place in the modern culture and provided the possibility to reveal the new phase of creative powers of the nation. The employee of Agriculture Palace and crafts instructor A. Tamošaitis and his teacher, museologist and well-known researcher of the folk art P. Galaunė were especially active in the area. P. Galaunė drew the rules, regulating the craftsmen’s activities and criteria for recognition of crafts as folk crafts, participated in different commissions, formulated the rules for competitions, selected craft articles at exhibitions and reviewed them in the press. By attempts of P. Galaunė, A. Tamošaitis, I. Šlapelis and other promoters of the folk style of the interwar period another page of development of folk crafts was opened, which, already in the second half of the 20th century, was considered as one spontaneously grown of the archaic traditions of the land. The article analyzes the circumstances of emergence of the folk style in the articles of household manufacture of the interwar period, which continued the traditions of folk crafts. Employing the press of interwar craftsmen and rural residents, other written sources, factographical, historical and analytical methods, the article makes attempts to reveal the propaganda tools, employed for nurturing the national spirit among the craftsmen of the period and the ways of encouragement of support of national forms in the initial phase of organization of household manufacture (the end of the twenties – beginning of the thirties) by directing the craftsmen’s attempts towards development of the folk traditions.
