LTStraipsnyje tyrinėjamos mokyklinės bendruomenės ir visuomenės ugdymo problemos; apžvelgiamos socialinės ugdymo funkcijos, inteligentijos vaidmuo. Autorius nagrinėja švietimo modelio bruožus, pažinimo lygmenis. Pabrėždamos metodologijos reikšmę švietimo procesui, autorius analizuoja šio tipo darbų turinį bei idėjas, įtaką švietimo reformų eigai, pedagogų mokslinei brandai. EN1. The school is a part of the society and for this reason it must ensure not only the individual education, but also the education of the society and the nation. The Academy of Sciences, being the flower of the intelligentsia, should take an active part in the solution of the problems, concerning the education of the Lithuanian people. 2. The global object of the individual education is the purposeful interaction among the educator, the pupil, their regulations, the aims, the content and the surroundings of the educational process, and the learning results, the investigation and regulation of this interaction. The global object of the society education is the social interaction of internal and external factors in the family, school and society, the investigation and regulation of this interaction. 3. The aims of individual and social education is the cherishing of humanistic, national, democratical, renewal and spiritual regulations. The model of educational changes in Lithuania should be directed towards spirituality and information. 4. The methodological maturity of teachers, working on educational research, guarantees the speed and the purposeful changes in school community and society education. 5. The main landmarks in the methodological maturity of the educators are the following: a) the educational maturity, enabling the educators to orient themselves among the most important problems of education; b) methodological maturity of individual and social educational research; c) the ethics of scientific work in preenting the results of educational research.
