Lietuvos konsulatai Švedijoje 1921–1940 metais

LTStraipsnyje analizuojami Lietuvos konsulatų tinklo Švedijoje kūrimo bei funkcionavimo etapai 1921-1940 m. (jų išskiriami penki), konsulų bei konsulatų statusas, konsulatų tinklo plėtra Švedijoje. Remiantis jau atliktais tyrimais pristatoma Lietuvos konsulų Švedijoje, Norvegijoje, Danijoje bei Suomijoje veikla nurodant jų sąlyčio taškus ir takoskyrą. Lietuvos konsulatų tinklas Švedijoje buvo gana platus (1935-1938 m. veikė 11garbės konsulatų). Išanalizavus konsulatų tinklo plėtrą lėmusius veiksnius bei konsulų pasirinkimo motyvus 1921, 1927, 1933, 1935, 1937 m. teigiama, kad plėtrą sąlygojo dvi priežastys: ekonominės (1921, 1933, 1935 m.) ir propagandinės (1927 ir 1937 m.). Konsulatai turėjo pakeisti po E. Neumano ir T. Zasso bylos prarastą garbės konsulatų tinklą Vokietijoje ir atremti antilietuvišką propagandą švedų spaudoje, plėtoti turizmą bei kultūrinius mainus. Išsiaiškinus Lietuvos konsulų Švedijoje, Norvegijoje, Danijoje bei Suomijoje veiklos sąlyčio taškus ir takoskyrą, konstatuota, kad visi be išimties garbės konsulai darbavosi trimis veiklos kryptimis: intensyvino ekonominius dvišalius mainus, plėtojo Lietuvos ir Danijos, Lietuvos ir Norvegijos, Lietuvos ir Švedijos bei Lietuvos ir Suomijos kultūrinius ryšius, talkino atstovybėms informacijos ir propagandos srityje.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Lietuvos konsulatai Švedijoje; Lietuvos konsulatų tinklas; Lietuvos ir Švedijos santykiai.

ENThe article analyzes the phases of development and functioning of the network of consulates of Lithuania in Sweden during the time period of 1921-1940 (totally five periods are distinguished) and the status of the consulates and the consuls. Referring to the previous studies, the activities of consuls of Lithuania in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland is presented, specifying the points of intersection and divide. The network of consulates of Lithuania in Sweden was rather broad (11 honorary consulates were functioning in 1935-1938). Upon analyzing the factors, which determined the development of the network of consulates and the motives for selection of consuls in 1921, 1927, 1933, 1935 and in 1937, it is stated that the development was determined by two reasons: economic (in 1921, 1933 and in 1935) and propaganda (1927 and in 1937). The consulates were supposed to replace the network of honorary consulates in Germany, which was lost after the E. Neumann and T. Zass’s case, counterbalance the anti-Lithuanian propaganda in the Swedish press, develop tourism and cultural exchange. Upon identifying the points of intersection and divide of the activities of consuls of Lithuania in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, it is stated that all the honorary consuls, without exception, acted according to the following three directions of activities: intensification of mutual economic exchange, development of cultural relations between Lithuania and Denmark, Lithuania and Norway, Lithuania and Sweden and Lithuania and Finland and assistance to representations in the area of information and propaganda.
