Summary / Abstract:

LTŠiuolaikinių tėvų kartos keliami nauji reikalavimai ikimokyklinio ugdymo mokytojų kompetencijoms, kurias įvairiais lygmenimis ugdosi ir būsimieji ikimokyklinio ugdymo mokytojai studijų ir pedagoginių praktikų metu. Straipsnyje analizuojama, kokios, būsimųjų mokytojų nuomone, ikimokyklinio ugdymo mokytojo kompetencijos yra reikšmingiausios užtikrinant sėkmingą partnerystę su šiuolaikinės kartos tėvais. Tyrimo rezultatai atskleidė, kad informantai labiausiai akcentuoja pedagoginio išprusimo kompetenciją, tačiau nesureikšmina ugdymo proceso organizavimo, veiklos prognozavimo ir planavimo kompetencijų. Raktažodžiai: kompetencijos, šiuolaikinės kartos tėvai, partnerystė, būsimieji ikimokyklinio ugdymo mokytojai. [Iš leidinio]

For teachers not only pedagogical literacy that consists of general, psychological knowledge, the knowledge of the child becomes a necessity but also the skills of activity planning and organisation, organisation of education process, active involvement in the change of pre-school education system. Also, the competences of communication and collaboration with parents, ability to adapt and find the necessary access to parents of contemporary generation, ability to involve them into the activities of education institution, empower parents to become comprehensive partners of teachers are of appropriate significance. All these competences in different levels are taught and developed by future pre-school education teachers during their studies and pedagogical practices. The aim of the study is to reveal what, in the opinion of students – future teachers, pre-school education teacher competences are the most meaningful in order to ensure the successful partnership with parents of contemporary generation. The applied research methodsare as follows: the analysis of content of scientific information resources (to reveal the theoretical context), questions in written (to collect empirical data) and content analysis (analysis of empirical data). The scope of qualitative research is 18 informants who agreed to participate in the research. They are students – the future pre-school education teachers. The study results showed that the informants mostly emphasise the competence of pedagogical literacy that includes the knowledge about the child, personal features of teachers helping to promote partnership relations with the parents and students of contemporary generation, professional expertise and values. The following features are accentuated: patience, self-confidence, benevolence in communication with parents of contemporary generation with different attitudes and expectations. The future teachers did not focus on the competences of education process organisation, i.e. ability to organise education process based on human resources – the parents. Thus, parents are not involved in the education process sufficiently. They paid little attention to the competence of activity prediction and planning. [From the publication]
