ENThe chapter examines results of archaeological excavations of Lithuanian partisan war sites. Certain research tendencies are identified and reviewed, the concept of the Lithuanian partisan war archaeology is defined and its features are pointed out. The authors pay special attention to the 2010 investigation of the partisan bunker in Daugėliškiai Forest (Raseiniai District, Central Lithuania). Based on the results of the complex research, the role of archaeology in investigating modern conflict sites is defined. [Publisher annotation]
