Prienų dvarvietė

LT2022 m gegužę Prienų dvarvietės teritorijoje (Prienai, Žemaitės g. 7A) buvo atlikti detalieji tyrimai. Tyrimai vykdyti prieš tai dviejuose šurfuose aptikus iki 50 cm storio sluoksnį su XVI-XVIII a. radiniais. [Iš teksto, p. 220]

ENIn 2022, a single trench measuring 28.5 m in length and 1-3.2 m in width (total area - 30 m2) was excavated at the Prienai Manor site (south Lithuania, Prienai district), situated at the land plot of 7A Žemaitės St. A 20-30 cm layer of blackish sand mixed with black soil was recorded at a depth of 70-80 cm, containing 17th- and 18th-century finds: a Riga schilling, 1632-1654; green-glazed stove tiles; and sherds of household pottery. The remainder of the trench contained 17th- and 18th-century archaeological layers, recorded at a depth of 70-80 cm. The proposed project depth was 1-1.1 m in total. [From the publication]
