LTStraipsnyje pateikiami tyrimo, siekiančio įvertinti meninio ugdymo reikšmę socialinių santykių formavimuisi, rezultatai, kurie parodė: dalyvavimas bendroje meninėje veikloje pakeitė klasės mokinių socialinius santykius, padėjo atsiskleisti, surasti naujų draugų, suvedė mergaites ir berniukus į vieną draugų ratą. ENA person, acting in an environment, is applying the acquired experience, capabilities, conception of activity purpose. In this way he or she is changing an individual culture even if at some extent only at first (Matulevičienė, Kievišas, 2003). Artistical education is helpful in developing a child's mind, emotional and physical potential. Artistical education through is changing the learner’s relationship with the world, the ways in which a child transforms and creates an environment. By changing the environment a person changes himself or herself, is improving as a personality (Gaižutis 1998). Artistic education is an important factor for changing and enriching environment. By adjusting the content of activity it reveals the relevance of the development not only personally but also socially. According to the observation of J. Kievišas (2007), the negative attitudes in the point of studies spread to the other fields of personal activity, therefore, the activity and creativity are fading away. This affects the pupils’ system of spiritual values and the becoming of personality. It is important to understand the features of artistical education activity, the opportunities of its development and promotion of development and on the ground of this to nurture self-expressive personality and its character of the democratic culture. It shows the artistic education oriented activities to improve and promote the development of social relations and meaning. The problem of research is being formatted on a research question: what importance has active artistical activity to the development of pupils' social relationships?
